Any word on who the new AD/HC at Burkville is going to be? Or are there any candidates for the job that anyone knows about?

Good luck in the search. I've read all the post about good coaches - great coaches (and family and career first), but thats crap when they leave at the last minute. Put those kids that trusted in them in a bind.

school board meets next tuesday, 24 July. Don't know if the job has even been posted or advertised yet. I suspect it will be about the start of the school year before someone is hired. They may designate another coach to fill in until they hire a new one.

I heard from another coach that this school could be folding soon.  Low test scores, no athletic period, and many students going to nearby schools.

Newton mainly. i dont know.  I remember back in the day when no one below 3A wanted to play them.

Heard that the baseball coach, Coach Hamilton is the new AD.  Do not know him but he did coach baseball at Central I guess about 10 years ago.
