Leaving Lumberton this late in the summer was very tough, the kids worked hard and all the coaches and administrators from top to bottom were great. Though leaving the program with Aaron made it easier to do knowing that he was ready for the job. Aaron is a hard worker and is always trying to make himself a better coach. Being an assistant for several years and working with all these young athletes he will do a good job. Yes he will make mistakes just like everyone else in this profession but game in and game out he will have his players ready to play. Good Luck Jason

I heard from another coach that this school could be folding soon. Low test scores, no athletic period, and many students going to nearby schools.

Just one of those nights didnt matter if it was a layup, ft, or a 3pt open or not it didnt go in. When you rely on trying to control the tempo and cant score it can get ugly. We did have a 3 rim out at the buzzer for 19pts! That was a game you just got to laugh off and get on to the next one. The first time we played Vidor at there place we started up 10-0 midway through the first quarter and didnt score again until the 3rd down 21-10 so it had happen alittle before but not like that.

That is crazy! We called a time-out when we scored our 17th point with 4 minutes left in the game last night, stopped the game and had our team sign the ball and put it in the trophy case!! That is the great thing about sports anything can happen and anyone can pull off an upset. Lumberton had 15 upsets this year! Coach Henry
