How about a HF win and an Hj win leaving Hf hj and liberty all tied at 1-3.

Actually, that would have HF at 2-2 and HJ and Liberty in a tie at 1-3.  That would give HJ the #4 seed.

If HF, HJ, Liberty are tied at 1-3.  It goes to head to head first, and all would be tied at 1-1.  Then it would go to positive points, so HJ would have to win by 13 or more to get the #4 seed.

As far as I can tell, if HJ beats Liberty, HF claims 3rd, HJ gets 4th, and Liberty is out. If Liberty beats HJ, Liberty gets 3rd, HF is 4th and HJ is out. So basically, the outcome between HJ/Liberty determines 3rd/4th and the HF/WOS game means nothing...regarding playoff teams and seeding.

If Liberty wins and HF wins, both will be tied at 2-2 and Liberty gets 3rd based on head-to-head and HF claims 4th..

If Liberty wins and HF loses, Liberty (2-2) gets 3rd and HF gets 4th (1-3).

If Liberty loses and HF wins, HF will get 3rd with 2-2 record while HJ (1-3) will claim 4th based on head-to head with Liberty (1-3).

if Liberty loses and HF loses, a three-way tie will be created for the 3rd and 4th spots. All three teams are tied head-to-head. So point differential will determine the 3rd spot. HF has this outright: a +18 win over HJ and a -3 loss to Liberty = +15. Liberty will have a +3 over HF and a negative against HJ, so the highest Liberty can get is +2. HJ has a -18 against HF and a positive against Liberty. Even if HJ beats Liberty by over 18, they can only get to a 0 in differential...therefore HF will automatically win the 3rd spot. The fourth spot will then go head-to-head, in which case HJ will be the qualifier.

    • We had the same type of rules when Coach Stone was at PNG.
    • I’m curious to see if this will happen next season .
    • @Reagan This is the part that seems like opinion and not fact.
    • I listened to Berry's conversation live.  Then I went back to listen to the repeat to make sure what I heard was correct.  Did you happen to listen to it?  He didn't appear to obfuscate or in any way make it sound as if it was just an opinion.  He stated it fairly bluntly.  Do you have any reason to believe he was not telling the truth?   As for as Trump the first round, I was a total supporter of Ted Cruz.  I wasn't sure about Trump either.  But once he won the nomination I was 100% behind him.  As for as I'm concerned he did a great job.
