Because State polls are crap.

I, along with many coaches, feel that the state "poll" is crapola. It's not a poll -- it's the opinion of one person, who reads emails that people send to him. Many coaches have asked me to start a ranking because I keep up with standings and scores, but this state is so big.... just hard to do...

I tried a couple of years ago to get 6A coaches to vote for experimental poll, but I could only get about 20 to vote and it wasn't a representative sample from across the state.
