#15 Teague vs #5 Kountze, 6 pm

Frankston vs #11 East Chambers, 7:30 pm

Teague  to   waco     55 miles 

Frankston to Waco   122 Miles

East Chambers to waco   242 miles 

Kountze to        Waco   235 miles.. 

 

Teague should have a nice crowd

When was the last time the Region III tournament was held in southeast Texas area?

It was held at Tyler JUCO since Kountze dropped a classification in '05. Those East Texas schools had to only travel roughly 30 minutes to get to the Regional. I remember one year you had a Kountze vs. Arp and East Chambers vs. Tatum. Let's just say both Kountze and East Chambers were outnumbered.

The tournament has been moved around in the past 4 years dues to scheduling conflicts

2012 - 2014: SFA

2015: Angelina College

2016: Waco Midway HS

Waco is way to far NW IMO.

Should be held at the following locations, which would make things very centric for all Region III opponents

SFA, LUFKIN, TYLER

exactly, WACO is not applicable to 3a region III

There is one district in that area it's the farthest NW corner of the region. Even Tyler I felt was to far North, centrally Madisonville area is the best place.
