Baddog here is another reason I dislike Duke. They turned their backs on this man because he was being loyal to his players because he believed in their innocence!

Very tragic. There was so much pressure put on the University at that time, it's no wonder they did what they did. They were squarely in the crosshairs. You can thank Al Sharpton for a lot of the misdirection here. He paid for the lying stripper's education and was screaming racism at the top of his lungs. When they were found innocent, they sent the D.A. packing and should have charged her with obstruction and perjury. Sharpton should have been charged with obstruction of justice too. Doing what he did with false information should be criminal. If you read the whole article, no one else would give him a shot either. Maybe Duke could have reinstated him but the damage had already been done. The kids had already been tried and convicted on TV. Journalism never entered the equation. Just report the biased story whether it is true or not.

Sharpton is more racist than any white person I know, but he can get away with it.

That would be the pressure I was referring to. Sharpton had his day and always calls for heads to roll. The prosecutor should have been brought up on charges.
