Texas A&M defense is not better than UNT. Check the EOY stats.

^^^Cannot compare apples to oranges guru... I assume north texas has played a Top 10 team also this year!

All this A&M Love I just knew all would be talking about the big game with the Mighty Kansas Jayhawks!!

As you can see..............I said that UNT defense is better than Texas A&M defense. Check the End of Year stats. I won't be wrong.

I think that looking at your out of conference schedule, your AD was not confident of Aggie success playing in the mighty sec.

Most teams might schedule 1 cupcake games, but not three cupcake games in a row. :P :P :P

And how many yards have they given up?

^^^4-0 Doesn't matter how many yards they have given up only numbers that count is on the scoreboard..

Who cares about non conference schedule that's for the byu's of the world!! Look at A&M next four games & report back....

In defense of Rice they're the reigning C-USA Champs but did lose to Miss. St in there Bowl Game.

SMU gave UCF all they wanted and some last year 17-13 and you know what UCF did to Baylor. June Jones had SMU playing pretty good ball he took them to bowl games in 09,10,11 & 12 winning 3 of them. Unfortunately this year the wheels just fell off of the SMU program and that might be a understatement!

^^^ Like the odds of the SEC besides last year didn't they win like 7 in a row.. Where was OU & FSU then lets see if the ACC conference can win 7 in a row then toot your horn... BTW on last year the SEC still had the best bowl record once again. But you can toot it all you want with OU as I like that Big Game Bob does too...

Atleast UCF didn't beat Bama and Auburn..

So you only want to compare points allowed and not yards in the EOY comparison?

That is risky?

Yes Texas fans point at A&M's non-conference schedule - and likely have a point this year.

But when conference starts A&M does not have a cupcake - not one - but Texas gets to play Kansas, Iowa State and this year it appears Texas Tech - so which has the tougher TOTAL schedule - I still go with Texas A&M.

As it stands today Texas A&M will face 3 Top 10 teams and 3 more that are in the top 25.

Texas will only face 1 top 10 team in Baylor and 2 other top 25 teams ranked 24th and 25th.

Of course - As SEC teams beat each other up.

Texas A&M will have a tough 4 games coming up - But Texas has a tough row to hoe as well with Kansas  :P, but then they play Baylor and OU

Kind of like playing Lamar, Rice, and SMU. Then beating your chest like you've accomplished something.

Follow that up with 4 losses in conference and saying "We play in the SEC and it's hard."

What's Texas excuse gonna be when they lose 4 or more in the Big 12 (Again) - It can't be that it's hard.  Ohhhh that's right new coach and he gets 3 years - sorry.

You know there are no excuses OT.

It takes three years to put your program in place.

And we do have a new coach so again just got reset when Mack left.

I wish I could feel bad about Texas current state of affairs as much as the Aggie posters do.

How is it going to feel when USC goes undefeated ROTY and wins NC? WHOOP

    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
    • See why I don't trust my Hogs?
    • Come on dude, don’t take anything away from the kids on the field. If you want to talk uncharacteristic, we made what 3 or 4 errors in game one. Y’all had 2 EARNED runs.  Defense is normally our strong suit. Your ace didn’t strike out a single one of our kids. Like I said also, you did not out hit us in game 1. Hell you barley out hit us in game 2. We had all the uncharacteristic walks. Josh pitched a hell of a game is what made that game what it was.
