Kyle Mcbride for Dayton. The kid can take a 5yd pass and turn it into a 70 yd td in no time. Probably will be the fastest kid on the field every game dayton plays.

If they can limit the fumbles, I was impressed by the 3 WO-S running backs (Grant Lapoint, J.D. Thompson and Tre Baldwin). And I agree, the backup QB for Nederland was solid, moved the ball late in the game for the Bulldogs.

For Friendswood:

 

RB -- Sam Longbotham (Sr.) a couple of long runs and at least one punishing stiff arm

 

DE -- Christian Robinson (Sr.) two sacks and very disruptive

 

Both QBs -- Brandon Sargent (Sr.) and Tyler Page (10).  Sargent had a good run and made good throws all night (WRs often dropped them) and Page was an explosive and illusive runner.

For WS Kirkland Wilson was ferocious at RB and DeMarie Smith at WR made two sparkling catches and laid the wood from his CB position as well. In my opinion if WS commits to passing the ball I think Reshod Williams could throw for 3000+ yds and 25-30 td easily, with all the weapons he has at reciever.....

I don't think it was the "yellow flags" that hurt both teams as much as it was the fact that both lines were doing a lot of holding!!!!

I noticed that too. Not that the starter looked bad. I was just surprised at how calm he seemed. I had Nederland people sitting around me and they seemed pleasantly surprised also.
