Ozen head coach applicant list released

Recommended Posts

Atkins had been suspended for improper relationship with a student! If I were the principal of the campus Atkins was employed, I would tell him to get away from the campus and not come back and report it to law enforcement as soon as possible! Faculty are the students' teachers, not their friends! Period. They have their own dining facilities (faculty/staff lounge) unless they are assigned to lunch duty where they have their own table where they can eat their own lunch. The students have their own restroom facilities and the faculty/staff have their own. I am sick and tired of that stuff being heard on the news! It never happened like 15-20 years ago until Mary Kay Letourneau had an improper relationship with one of her former students as result having two children with him, divorcing her husband at that time rarely seeing her older children, and serving prison time for sexually assaulting a child because at that time, he was under 18. Her time in prison took a toll on her family life. She became estranged with her two children and her father died while being incincarcerated and she couldn't go on furlough to attend his funeral! Mrs. Letourneau and the former student are now married!

This must be the new list after the Plez hiring.  Jason Speights is missing from this list.  He would be an excellent choice.  I work with him at Alief Hastings currently and I know that he applied the first go around.

I thought Speights had applied too!! Saw his name missing.. Gotta be another list.

Thank you GCMPats2, those who have slammed this list obviously have no clue how good Judge is. Damien Judge is a class act and one heck of a football coach. He has a great pedigree and does an outstanding job. He would be a great fit at Ozen. Some very uninformed people if they think any list with Judge's name on it is a list of scrubs. Any program would be thrilled to have Judge associated with it.

cobb and cox on the list and no young???? give me a break, man. at least he comes from winning teams in PAM and WOS. Ceaser is a Hebert Alums son, correct? or is that someone else? if he is then there will be lots of distractions from the outside. alums will want to have input and feel they are entitled. I saw this happen years ago. drama, drama, drama will be the result. I may be wrong though.

think before you speak. that's your opinion just like I have one. He may be a good guy but he didn't even get considered the first time. I may be more in the know than you think. relax man.

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
