[/quote]I know what you're saying, but Central's speed isn't like what we're accustomed to seeing.  The last speedy team that we've had was the 2010 team.  After that, the speed have been mediocre.  Don't believe me?  Look at the track results.  They will tell the tale.

Ok, I looked.  They did modify it.  I remember having a discussion to another JAG fan that we need to get back to scrimmaging LaMarque vs. Barbers Hill.  I guess that someone took my advise! 8)

BH knocked the Jags all around the field last year. Speed didn't help too much in a scrimmage. Hopefully Central turns it around this year.

That homecoming game is looking more and more exciting. I hate the fact that I will be out of state that weekend. It will definitely be the game of the week. That's for sure.

[/quote]I'm pretty sure they knocked us around.  No denying that.  I'm just saying, BH is no LaMarque.  You can consistantly gage yourself more accurately vs. Scrimmaging BH.

Central will always have speed.  Discipline and structure are what determines how far speed can take you.  The 2010 team which made the playoffs, was a team that had discipline instilled by Stowers even though he had departed.  The 2011 and 2012 teams were replica's of their coaching staff, no structure and discipline so whatever speed they had was nullified.  The structure along with discipline is back for this coming year, so with the speed that you'll previously mentioned, there will be no excuses...
