Does that sound about right? Yet a school in the smallest classification in Texas (1A) has approx 35-40% of their team who will likely play at the next level? Interesting....

Over the last 10 years, I wonder how many (TOTAL) 1A kids from SETX played at the collegiate level?
[/quote] First of all, no one knows what kid from AAA will play at the next level other than Singelton  and McClure. I have never said AAA isn't a basketball factory. Sure they focus on preparing their student-athletes for the next level, just like a lot of other public schools. Don't think Mumford athletes haven't a desire to play pro baseball or basketball. AAA is just a high profile school and its easy to pick on schools like this. Schools like Mumford can sit back in their rural areas and build nice athletic facilities, receive transfer students, &  reach Austin with little fanfare. I'm not knocking Mumford, but again, I just don't see any major differences in the two programs.

[/quote]hMMM? Most kids I know in 8th grade are playing 14u and 9th graders are 15u. AAA school starts about from 8a.m. and classes end @ 4p.m. It is an academic institution. But , maybe their athletes have a half-day schedule like the kids in those student work programs.

[/quote]I can honestly say King McClure, Jr. does not need to win a State title to get attention or go to the next level. He's one of the top guards in his class already and is being highly recruited by major D1's.
Again, most of those guys from AAA DO NOT play for the same team during the summer.

BD3 it is amazing to me that you are trying to pass Triple A off as a legitimate academic institution.  You do realize that they are an AAU organization that decided to become a school don't you?

Go research how long Mumford has been in operation?  Go research how many times Mumford has been to the state tournament in basketball?  Go see if Mumford allows kids to attend who do not participate in athletics?  You refuse to look and you don't have to look very hard to see there are MAJOR differences between Mumford and Triple A.
