  1. Whats not close is the preview shows outlooks Just messing Coop Thanks for giving us something to talk about. But if you need help Jody or I can make a guest appearance
  2. This poll is getting comical No way a 3A should be ranked over a 5A unless the 5A is a Houston school. Here is the new top ten IMHO 1.) West Brook 2.) Port Aurther Memorial 3.) Nederland 4.) Central (Even after their shocking loss) 5.) WOS 6.) Dayton 7.) Ozen 8.) Barbers Hill (Yep that right!) 9.) PNG 10.) Lumberton
  3. Thanks for the info. hope for a speedy recovery on all of these young men.
  4. Wow!!! This makes no sense, Central must have had some horrible turnovers!! or Silsbee pissed this team off something fierce
  5. Wow!! Where in the heck have I been???? I havn't seen anyone go off the field in the games that seemed injured!!! Hope they get better, are any of the injuries serious??
  6. Here is some early stats on the game. Dont know how accurate they are, I found them on the downlow. STATS First downs BH- 17 Bellville- 16 Rushing BH-75 yards Bellville-123 yards Passing BH-227 yards Bellville-114 yards
  7. This may be the first time in years we go into bye week healthy!!!! The Eagles looked sharp tonight.
  8. If this doesn't get BH in the top ten next poll then nothing will!!! BH has had a lot critics on this board all do to what they had seen in a scrimmage!! Well boys do you believe yet or does Bellville stink too?? BH's D was on fire! This is the best Defensive squad I have seen come through BH they were again very phisical tonight causing several fumbles and interceptions!!! And thank you coachs for figureing out that you have Mason Fisher on your team!!!! This guys was awesome tonight catch at least 150 yards in the air and grabing 2 interceptions on Defense!!! Congrats Defense and Offense on a complete game> Bellville has a good team and will make some noise in 3A like they already have.

  10. You right if the Offense doesn't start clicking some there is no way the BH defense pulls off a game against Bellville. The D is good ,but Bellvile's O is avearaging 39 points a game against good opponents!! The BH D can bring that down to the twenties IMHO which means our Offense has to score in the upper twenties against the best D they have played against  my pick is BH 28 Bellville 24 It's going to be a dandy can't wait!!!!!!!!!
  11. The BH D is awesome and the only reason we are 2-0 at this point IMHO. We have the talent on Offense but, I think as usual the play calling holds them back. I can't understand having a reciever like Mason Fisher who was being gaurded in single coverage most of the night by a guy 5'5" only getting thrown to twice?????? the first throw was a 30 yard gain and the second he got tripped up. Mason could have scored 4 TD's that game easy!!! I know the kids are making mistakes on the field as well and that is exspected, but the Offensive play calling for BH has to get better. Ok I got my rant for the day out. Still a good win, but this team has a lot of potential and scoring 23 and 26 points a game will not be enough against better teams. The D can't do it all. Jasper will get better and doesn't deserve being called week, they are playing good teams and I think will still make a run in district. Glad I got to see the Boneyard! I thougt it was a great place to watch some football!!! A lot of history on that field and you could feal it when you walked in. Good luck to Jasper !!
  12. Crap we won ther goes our #12 spot. Will we still be in the polls after this week? Jasper will also be known as the worst team ever after losing to BH. Sorry Jasper you don't derserve that. 8)

In the 25-0 game, Meghan McCoy set a school record in serving 25-0 straight points. BH is record is now 1-0,13-5. The Eagles will travel participate in the Dickinson Tournament on Thursday before playing their second district game at Huffman-Hargrave. JV Scores - Barbers Hill defeated Forest Brook 25-8, 25-7 Record 1-0,11-1. Freshment Scores - BH defeated Forest Brook 25-9, 25-9. Record 10-2
  18. Welcome 34sdad to the WOS I mean SETX sports board I tell you something else about last week game! It may be the only Saturday game that BH has ever won!! For as long as I can remember anyway 8) P.S. For anyone that is going to the game with me the Bus leaves my house at 4:30 P.M sharp!!!!!
  19. Lets meet at half time. never been there so tell us the best spot.
  20. Jody and I supported the schools and drank beer It was kinda funny you should have seen the people around us when we came back with beer, I thought everyone was going to kill their selves trying to get up to the food stands
  21. I'm routing for Huffman no doubt , but I think Wheatly takes this one, Huffman killed the worse team in their district last week Wheatly is supposed to be the best.
  22. I can't believe this thread has 6 pages!!!!! WOS by as much as Hooks wants
  23. Ok indians prove me wrong It's hard to judge PNG from their first game. Brenham was very good and could make a lot of teams look bad. I give the edge to Crosby because it is at their house and the Cougars are not the best team in the world ,but from what I've read they have a pretty good team this year.
