  6. Barbers Hill Tennis Teams wins the first ever 4A District Title with a 16-3 win over Galena Park on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006. The Eagles finished district play with a perfect 6-0 record and will advance to the Region III Team Tennis Tournament on Oct. 27, 2006.
  7. Congrats to the Girls!!!!!
  8. No I don't thnik it is tough district I also don't think it is the weakest in the state either. 22 4A is no giant either it is competitive in most years ,but on a state level it falls into the "weak" catagory. Also the district being weak doesn't mean that a team in the district can't be strong, BH IMHO can compete with 22 4A. I didn't say kill 22 4A I just said compete 8)
  9. ????? Are you refering to an easy first round draw? Because there are no bye weeks!
  10. These teams could very possible meet in Round 1! you never know 8)
  11. I still can't beleive how well these boys are doing in 4A. At the beginingo fthe year I thought with the talent we had coming back that we could crack the top three and then probally bow out in round one of the playoffs. Now I think these Eagles are very likly to go undefeated and compete in our region!!! Keep on rolling Eagles!!!!
  12. Team Tennis Takes 21-4A Title With one match to go the Barbers Hill Tennis has locked up the District 21-4A Team Tennis Title. The Eagles are currently 5-0 in district play with only Galena Park remaining on their schedule (Oct. 16). This is Barbers Hill's first year to compete in UIL Team Tennis (only 4A and 5A can participate). They advance to the Region III Team Tennis Tournament hosted by Friendswood Oct. 27-28, 2006. This is a tremendous accomplishment for the Eagles in their first year of Team Tennis participation. Team members include: Girls: Caitlin Campbell (Fr.) Kristin Chaumont (Sr.) China Godfrey (Jr.) Caroline Golding (So.) Dana Gonzales (Jr.) Chandler Hall (Jr.) Anja Lowery (So.) Tricia McKnight (Sr.) Kacie Simpson (Jr.) Courtney Thomsen (Jr.) Brittany Tobin (Jr.) Boys: Kyle Heard (Sr.) Zeke Hernandez (Jr.) Nick Keith (Jr.) Cody Lonider (Jr.) Joseph Lovinggood (Fr.) Josh Maddox (Sr.) Brendon Newman (Sr.) Tyler Richter (Jr.) Landry Tice (Jr.) Will Widner (Jr.) District Scores: BH defeated Forest Brook 19-0 BH defeated Crosby 16-3 BH defeated New Caney 18-1 BH defeated Smiley 19-0 BH defeated CE King 19-0 BH vs. Galena Park (Oct. 16, 2006) District 21-4A runner-up will be decided by the Crosby (4-1) vs. New Caney (4-1) Team match Oct. 16, 2006.
  13. Absolutly Awesome!!!! Jared you are one heck of a young man keep up the good work!
  14. This will be Dayton's tooughest test, but I still think Dayton will win this district and come out with the win!!! I see the game being close and Dayton pulling away at the end! Dayton by 14!!!
  15. Yes!!! I new we could get some Smiley votes. There are some die hard BH haters out thier folks 4 so far
  16. I know, I know your thinking good lord do you need a poll for this?? I figured I could atleast give smiley some votes from the BH Haters seriosly though got to have a topic up this week for BH to talk about!! Smiley beat Huffman this week and gave New Caney troubles the week before. Smiley I'm sure has some speed and kids that can play they just got to find some coaching toget that program out of the gutter. BH should go nuts this week just play safe and injury free ,so we can save some for the playoffs!!
  17. If BH don't or when they drop out I try to follow just about any local team!! I'm always looking for the double headers however, so I can get two for one
