2.
purple...I root for dayton also, but I will pay you a dollar for every day that you make a post that doesn't include the phrase "delusions of grandeur" or a reference to a team pulling out the basketball equipment.  Come original.
10-4  ;D ;D
 3.
In one sentence he praises the old regime by stating “I’m impressed with their work ethic and attitudes, and that’s a tribute to the people that have been here. It’s really encouraging. The foundation of what we want from our kids is in place.” Then in another statement he says “Some of those kids can’t walk and chew gum at once but a couple months on those things make a world of difference.” To me, the latter quote is not a positive one.  Wont the athletes at BH read this?  How will they feel about their new HC when they see this?
Stranger I think you may be reading into those Quotes to much. The Quote about the Jump ropes I believe he is refering to kids he has coached in the past not the current BH players The fondation that he is speaking about was no way built completely by this staff of coaches! BH kids have a good fondation because of the Parents and Teachers that work their butts off turning BH kids into BH Kids! Coaches are benifiting from the fondation that was given to them IMO.

I wouldn't have had to piss off so many people with them around  ;D ;D
First off, let me say that I'm not trying to piss anyone off. I've been around for many more than 10 years. I've just been sitting back reading and listening to all the comments until I got my fill of the bashing of the BH parents and fans. This is a very special place to me and the people here are something to be very proud of as a group. As I said before there are some knuckleheads but you get that everywhere. The change was long overdue and the attitudes of the supporters of the old staff just makes that even more evident to me. Some people hate to see the change because they feel like they're losing their grip on something that they had total control over in some way. Some people , could be some of the old staff, select parents, a school board member, bhisd employees, or some of all of those listed. BH is a special place and it should be treated as such! In Coach Gage, I think we have a man that will get us going in that direction! ;D
Well I've been hear on the board defending BH's fine name for along time. It's nice to see some folks that see what I and others have seen over the past several years! I was beginning to think that BH89 and some others were the only ones thinking that our current situation was as bad as it is. Whether you try to piss off folks or not we have been slammed in the dirt for any comments made on this site against the great dictator  ;D ;D  anywho welcome aboard its going to be a great season for BH!!

 6. 1. Crosby - Returning QB, but will need some help. 2. Baytown Lee - Underestimating the Ganders will be a big mistake! 3. Dayton - Limps into district after a brutal pre district! 4. BH - New Coach, New Sytem will be clicking by district! if not GCM 4. GCM - 3 rd year and they have to rebuild no more returning the whole team.
Purple forever will straighten you out he has proven mathmatical formulas that will show how a 8th grade district champ equals a varsity state title ;D ;D ;D Its like Gore talking about Global Warming :o

I wish Lee was better in basketball, but most of their talent usually moves to Sterling, which doesn't make sense, because Sterling is horrible too. I think Baytown just doesn't create basketball players for some reason.
Baytown Lee defenitly makes this a much better district! I have followed the Ganders during most of  Olins carear there. I'm glad Lee is in district 19-4A!
Tell us the D1 kids that he had? I'm just curios since this seems to be the current staffs battle cry! I don't think anyone is expecting that BH is going to win State, but they will be a better team IMO. WOS is dripping in D1 tallent ,but hasn't even been to state since their drop down! Point is D1 tallent isn't the only factor on the football field. I'll take a team of athletic kids that are willing to learn and have heart than a couple of D1 kids anyday.

 19. Whatever the coach runs Wishbone/Flexbone or dogbone ;D we will have the kids to run it. If you look back over the years our QB's have been most of the offense running left. right up the middle with this formation you at least put 1 to 2 lead blockers ahead of the runner instead of stringing your QB out to die every play!!! Making BH better is not about the formations IMHO its about adjusting to your what talent you have then adjusting what plays to be ran from the formation. Cage has the experiance to do this I bet he has forgotten more than most coaches know ;D
 20.
This is football right, not watermelon seed spitting or calf roping. BH handling Lee in rodeo events or plowing a field I can maybe get with.
This whole thing is being blown up so big for nothing.  It has nothing to due with race of the school or fear of the safty of the students and fans of Crosby. It also has nothing to do with the coaching staff.  If it did then they would not have scheduled them in the first place.... In every sport, the coach makes a schedule, it is then passed by the AD then the board. The word I got is it had to do with expenses and traveling to the same district twice. (already play PNG)
Ok I'm calling BS! Didn't Crosby play PNG and ENNIS!!!! last year??????? Ennis seems to be a bit further than Vidor ;D ;D :o
 22.
Thanks BH Fan, that make me feel a lot better.  That is a pretty balanced attack.  Can't wait to see how it turns out.  Does anyone have any info. on the defense he ran and how they ? 23.
I understand what 7 ON 7 is for, I have read on previous post he was one of the last coaches to get on board with the 7 on 7 and he runs a run oriented offense, I read Austin College did lead the confernece in rushing.   I did not see stats from Austin College.  I know we have a couple of Wrs that had great seasons last year and are returning, hope we keep them involved.  We will see how it goes.  I'm sure he mixes it up.  How much did Austin College pass last year ?
Passing 1520 Yards Rushing 2274 Yards Here is a link to 2009 Austin College Stats Click Here
 24.
Why would a coach that runs a running attack offense care about 7 on 7?  I just hope he mixes it up, which I'm sure he will.  We have a couple of very talented Wrs. coming back over the next couple of years, hope we do not stop the passing all together.    Can't wait to see how different things will look next year.  Anybody know what kind of defensive formations his teams have ran in the past ?  Have heard and read nothing but great things about the man.
Oh I dont know maybe keep your recievers and QB sharp ;D you have the throw to open the run and visa versa I doubt we will go to a straight run offense. That wasn't the case for his Austin College team anyway.
 25. Glad to hear about the new coach! I don't think you can go wrong with brining in a coach of this caliber. I have no doubt that cage will make BH football more competitive. The man has allready proved so much and we are lucky to have him. Those that attended the meeting was there any dates mentioned of when he will be activily performing the AD job? Anything about Football training? I hope Cage gets the boys into the state 7 on 7 tournament this summer I know we have competed in local 7 on 7, but the state tournament would be better IMHO.
