[/quote] Oh I dont know maybe keep your recievers and QB sharp ;D you have the throw to open the run and visa versa I doubt we will go to a straight run offense. That wasn't the case for his Austin College team anyway.

Glad to hear about the new coach! I don't think you can go wrong with brining in a coach of this caliber. I have no doubt that cage will make BH football more competitive. The man has allready proved so much and we are lucky to have him. Those that attended the meeting was there any dates mentioned of when he will be activily performing the AD job? Anything about Football training? I hope Cage gets the boys into the state 7 on 7 tournament this summer I know we have competed in local 7 on 7, but the state tournament would be better IMHO.

Ok Cat I have to know, Why are you placing Livingston above BH? BH is ahead is most other polls, so I'm curious what is the determining factor to place them above BH on your poll?? Not knocking the poll just curious ;D

I hate to see anyone lose their job, but hopefully the coaches that are released find work quick! I would think there are a lot of local schools that would love to have a BH coach on their staff. Back to the topic ;D I wonder if BH will get some Turf and stadium improvements??? Also After the school board recieve so much grief on here I think they deserve a big kudos for the selection they made. I was a little worried my self that the good ole boy network may prevail and someones cousin gets hired, but the board amd Poole went way beyon by expectations in getting a coach for BH. Great job guys and thank you for trying to make BH the best it can be!!!!!

Give him 2-3 years to work out the kinks then lets worry about playoff success. I do think however that we will see some quick results due to the talent coming up, just like Price did in the early years. You are correct BH doesn't have a superstar and thats my point either does other teams!!! BH always overacheives at every sport and that is due to the Pride, Tradition, Teachers, Parents and Community! The coaches get these kids for a short period of time during there lives, some make them better while some do not. BH will continue to overachieve! I just hope that the folks that think like you (That we are so un talented) get removed from this program! First thing these kids need is to BELIEVE and it has to be hard with comments that they have no athlete's and everyone is better and only Price could coach them. Give the kids a chance with the right elements in place they can compete!! Oh and one question for ya "They have beaten some teams with more talent because of hard work by the staff and kids." What teams have BH beaten that they were the underdog too? The only one I can think of was Galena Park in 08

[/quote] Playoffs will help, but will not be the determining factor IMHO. BH played two teams this year that went 3 and 4 rounds into the playoffs and could have beaten both. If Dayton and Crosby can do it with their personnel I don't know why BH can't play up to that level. Dayton had no super stars this year and Crosby has one Div 1 stud on the team, the difference is coaching. It's fun to beleive that we have no talent so thats why we lose, but I think we will see in the following years that we do have the talent! I garuntee you with this mans experiance he will not come in plug the wishbone in and rotate players in and out of it though the years. The good coaches adjust to there talent to try to get the best out of each year. Oh and we have had an option QB the last nine years the only differnce is there was not option!
