I have seen BH dismantle so called D1 players over the years. Half of the so called D1 players that teams brag about don't even make it past their 1st full year of college. Having players on your team being recruited for D1 is definitely a plus, but doesn't give you an automatic win on Friday Nights.

Is Beaumont playing Crosby this week? Stupid scheduler at BH shows us playing the Coogs! I'll take Crosby in this one then 28-2

Mr. Garrity I tried getting baby to the game last week ,but that boy is eat up with fishing. I'll be at the Crosby game and will try to drag him along... Tex are you going or are you going to watch Dayton welcome Splendora to 5A LOL. Hope to see Tex and Garrity there! Win or lose your going to see a well coached BH team that I have not seen ever. Now I'm just basing my opinion on one game, but sitting there watching the Eagles last Friday was pretty awesome. The adjustments by this coaching staff were on mark and done quickly not waiting for the half to talk about it To the Crosby fans we want nothing more that a win and understand the odds in getting that win. The Cougs have a fantastic team this year and a great coaching staff to match, if we can hang with yall It will be a great accomplishment for this team. Goodluck Eagles! Practice your hearts out this week and show em what you got!

I think BH will make it respectable this year, but we have not faced the athletes that Crosby has yet. The one thing I'm looking most forward to this year is that no matter how far behind we can quickly score to get the game back to competitive. Last year if we were down by 14 the game was over! This will be a much better game, but Crosby at home I'll give them a 14 point edge. (If we had the same offense as last year Crosby by 28).

I didn't get to see the Eagles in Vidor, but got to see them tonight and very happy what I saw (Not just the score). What I saw I have never seen at BH and that is coaching! What ever adjustments were being made during the game were spot on and what turned into a shaky start ended up in just a show by BH on O and D. BH's QB made good decisions all night and was accurate in his throws. Langlier was just untouchable and it is a shame that he has been hidden in a lack luster program the last couple of years! Hope he continues to have a great year and get some offers to go to the next level. BH will be tough to keep out of the playoffs this year and has a good shot at the #2 spot in district IMO. I don't think the Coaching will get us past Crosby, but we will definitely play them much better this year. Still a ways to go, but next week will be our measuring stick. True , but if your field is a mess and your opponent has one that is not wouldn't it make sense to play on the safer field? Like I said I have no idea if this is the case , just very strange comments on twitter.

You got to love social media I got the tweet that night as well and thought it wasn't right for a Sup to publically ridicule a school. The 08 thing looked like a huge cover up as well. Dr. Poole has done great things for BH while he has been there, but in these two cases he definitely was in the wrong. I can't help to wonder if there is something more to his comments though. Could it have been that Vidor could have played at our field and denied saying there field was fine? No idea just throwing that out there.

Not sure anyone including myself expected this outcome. Great Job Eagles cant wait to see you next week on The Hill! Good luck to Vidor and hope all the BH fans have a safe trip back!

Just messing Never had any dislike of Vidor. Each time we have played them it has been a good clean game. Fans seem to be good folks too. I have been lurking on this site for months, just thought I would pop in! Hoping for a great season and if nothing else will get to see the ball in the air again!

I think them boys from Mexico are coming back just for the boudin ..... Last year they were all treated to some boudin and they had never had it before and loved it :) All jokes aside tough this is a very classy team they came over here played us hard ...great group of kids

Dayton  can win this game. FBE isn't some powerhouse.. they went 4-6 and return 8 from last years team.

Fort Bend  is picked to place 5th in thier district and return 4 and 4 from last years 4-6 team.. They do return thier QB from last year that has some pretty good stats......

BH had a rough scrimmage with 4-5 turnovers on Offense. Deffense held HF scorless and BH scored 1 with 1st team and 1 with second team during simulation. During the live quarters 2nd string QB played for BH the majority of the time with Caleb only taking a few snaps. BH won the live quarters 13-0. All in all it was the 1st scrimmage and they got some things to work out before district begins.

Everyone likes to think BH is a push over team, but this little school has had more success than any other in this area. We don't live on our History though 1 year at a time , can't wait for the season to start.

[/quote] Good luck with that ;) ;D K park could play spoiler in district this year, but I think the teams are just going to be to much for Kpark. I don't know how you are going to go from scoring 3 against BH and allowing 35 last year to a victory this year. BH is returning the house along with Crosby while SC is on another level.. Dayton has the toughest road to hoe this year IMO, but will still have enough to get in the playoffs.
