It is called sarcasm. Give me a break and what would that comment have to do with his QB Skills. The article was about the controversy surrounding the parade in town and he made a sarcastic comment. Get a sense of humor.

Well yes they have a pitiful visitor side. But WOS is spoiled to one of if not the best stadiums in the area for all classifications. Arguably the best 3A stadium as far as size in the state. How many of the WOS fans actually have kids still in the school. Most of the fans that go to those games don't have a dog in the hunt. Not saying that is a bad thing. But how has a school gone from a 5A squad to a 3A squad. You can't expect other 3A programs with far less enrollment and a smaller tax base to improve there structures. It is not their fault that WOS as dropped in enrollment. As far as LCM, lets start beating the WOS teams first and make it even more uncomfortable for their fans on the visitor side before we think about making changes to the facilities.

Has anyone seen the facilities for Lake Travis, they put some college programs to shame. They have an indoor practice facility and a weight room that is state of the art. I have much respect for Lake Travis and have no doubt they are a good team, and I have no "but" here. They have to show up and play just like Friendswood does and I hope it is a good game. Stranger things have happened. Take last night for instance. Snow dropping on my home in Friendswood. Yep snowing in Houston and upper 60's in New York City. Strange things are happening.

BigKelleyBoy, I honestly hope it is that close. But they have played some pretty good teams. They played Austin Westlake and Evangel out of La. in the pre-season and there district wasn't too bad either. It will be a tough contest for the Mustangs and I hope they don't get donkey stomped. I think Josh Rankin would be a great fit. He is a young guy and a coach I think the players and community would rally around and give their full support. He is a former Bear and one who saw the excitement first hand in 1994 and experienced the Bear Pride the community had. By the way, where is Rankin coaching at?

Just about everybody including God I think didn't give Central a chance (other than the Jags fans) to beat Friendswood but they almost did it. Central has a good squad and impressed the heck out of me with there defense. I think the same can be said for Friendswood's chances this coming weekend with LT. They will be serious underdogs and that could be to there advantage. Maybe they could use a similar game plan that Central had in place for Friendswood. Ball Control. I think if Friendswood can run the ball and keep Gilbert off the field then they may have a chance.

I for one seriously underestimated the Jaguars defense and to be honest the Friendswood defense as well. It was a great game by two very good teams. Regardless of who won, I would have pulled for the Region III champ to do well. I currently live in Friendswood but spent most of my life in the Golden Triangle and understand the commradity there is in SETX and the pride you feel when your area teams do well. I have to tip my hat to the Jags and wish them well next season.

You could not be more wrong. The Central coach even stated he could not see the play well. The side judge on the home side came in right away and ruled him down, before the Central defender picked up the ball. He was down and the ground caused the ball to come out. The confusion was due to the Jags players and coaches all out on the field. If you go back and watch the tape you will see that. Good game though. Central has a great defense.

No, coach seems overconfident and after the loss I predict that all of the Jags fans will be blasting the coach for overlooking the Mustangs and not giving the Mustangs there props. They will make there excuses but when all is said and done they will have been beaten by a better team.

Friendswood 49 BMT Central 21 Close early and but the Jags are overconfident and that is not just what the Houston media said but those dudes in your backyard. After reading the posts on all these boards you Jag fans are in for a serious wake up call. I think your coach will be too. The teams that the enterprise references to tems that gave an idea of what they will face tonight is laughable. Nothing in the golden triangle has prepared you guys for what you will be witness to tonight. Sorry. I am not a name caller and will not disrespect you guys. You are here for a reason. But man, BCJAG come on "whipped Friendswood"? Rollinac, mediocre run game? Have you seen one game the Mustangs have played or are you going by stats. Whatever helps you guys sleep at night to help you feel like you have a chance.
