[/quote] Being from neither HD, Hardin, or Kelly and having 2 of the 3 schools on our schedule, I saw this scrimmage and I think your giving Kelly too much praise and not taking enough away from Hardin. Kelly did not look all that great, the qb was throwing terrible passes but Hardin's secondary simply couldn't make a play, and Kelly's o-line was fairly small but the backs were able to make the defense miss, If the Bobcats can hit, I say they fair better against Kelly because besides the interior linebacker and running back position Kelly looked weak as well, it was just the fact that Hardin looked weaker, remember Kelly is a team who was winless in district last year. [/quote] That is correct.  The same Kelly team that went winless in their district last year, beat our district champs EC like a drum by three touchdowns. If you have both of us on your schedule, i'm guessing your from Liberty and if that's the case, then I hope y'all do better this year against them than last year.  Their district is like ours, tough every year ST. Pius, ST.Thomas.  But your write our defense looked bad and is going to need some major improvement real fast. I think Kelly will be quality team this year though, they have alot of seniors and the big receiver. Their QB did underthrow some balls that should have been picked. Were still talking about the first Scrimmage for both teams though. The Hornets our my team and i'm not ready to throw them under the bus after our first Scrimmage  8)

There out at the Wal-Mart in Liberty.  Not so sure about the 2A Div. 1 Predictions.

The Rebels know they have work to do, but they just keep on winning and that is what the record will show as this year come to a close and the class of 2011 brings their high school careers to an end. We are all just hopeing that the final bell will end up with a state championship as the crowning achievement for a group of players who have given us all they have and so much enjoyment to watch and cheer for. Hardin 17 Big Sandy 1 Big Sandy player hit in the face, with a line drive in the cages before the game, seemed to be quite an ordeal. Hope he's alright.  As for the game the Hornets were smashing the ball good effort.

The hornets lost one senior from last years team, and brings alot of talent back. As does anahuac. Buna has had a great run of success over the last four years, that few teams can match at any level. But they lost alot of key players from last years team including some four year lettermen. This year District resides in Hardin.

That's good to hear, hopefully your Coach there does have a handle on that. That kind of stuff is not good for any program. Looking forward to a good competitive  baseball season.

This is crap, looks like they picked all the kids from just a handfull of schools.  How could you not have a single player from one of, if not the toughest 2-A District in Texas.    This is just the sports editor's version though. The real one should be annouced soon.  8)
