Tight District this year. Liberty, Huffman, Shepherd, Coldspring, Cleveland, Tarkington all in the race. Tarkington losses were in overtime to Liberty and a very close game to Shepherd. Huffman loss wasn't close. Coldspring Friday is another important game. Tough place to win.

Tarkington wins 60-55.

I believe Bailey did not play the first game. Probably wouldn't have made that big of a difference, but doubtful it would have been a 50 point blowout. This year, I don't think it 6 players on the court would have made up the difference.

Yes they lost a one point game at Huffman. Everyone in the district has at least one lose at this point.

Not if they saw Liberty play last year. They were the best team in the district last year the last half of the district. They appear to be the team to beat, but it is going to be a tight race.

This district race is going to be a barn burner. 6 of the 7 teams are playing really close games each night.

Jasper has the ability to play. They appear to be inconsistent.

Tarkington 48-39 final

Game was at 4 pm Liberty won in overtime 64-62. Game was tight the whole game.

Vidor won 54-52.

BC won 47-46 I think it was.

Don't recall the exact score, but Victory beat Tarkington @ 73-50.

This was a good game. Good win for the horns.

Those two have played at such a high level for so many years. 20 plus State Championships between the two of them.

Jasper has a lot to prove.  That scrimmage score against Nac didn't look too promising, but who knows how long the starters actually played.  With Jasper's schedule it won't take too many weeks to figure out if they are top 15 material.

Always enjoyed the pick em contest.  Thanks for the effort spent..I am sure it takes a while.

Sounds like Coach Barbay, of Jasper, has them throwing the pass this year..interesting.

That was a good read.  Worth the 15 minutes of entertainment. How many of those on the 1st and 2nd team play AAU?  What are their AAU rankings?

It is is FAT timing it is legit, if it is not then it is open for debate.  Either way, 10.4 with a stopwatch is still extremely fast.
