  1. That's HD's stud reciever Tre Smith #8. Hopefully he's alright after all the smack that was talked about Evadale shutting him down. He's tough as nails, so unless it's a serious injury, he'll be back at practice monday.
  2. I've seen both these teams play, and they are both very impressive in their own right. Hardin's offense can reel off 2 or 3 scores before you know what hits you. Buna on the other hand just wears you down with that dominant offensive line and a couple bruising backs. I think the key to this game, without a doubt will be Daniel Marsh. If he's able to get free, he will make huge plays and score a couple TD's and I believe Hardin wins. If Buna is able to gameplan and shut him down, then the Cougars win. Hmmmm.... I think Buna has the better overall team, but Hardin has alot of playmakers and a genius behind the controls. I'll pick it: Buna - 32 Hardin - 28 I watched Buna absolutely swarm HD's Tre Smith and shut him down, who is a similar WR to Marsh, but HD's total offense is nothing to compare to Hardin's machine this year.
  3. Wow.... What a wild one. Coldsprings wins over the Liberty Panthers 45-43

  8. PAT is good. Libety - 43 Coldsprings - 37 :29 seconds to go, Liberty kicking off. Now they said Liberty made the big comeback...... Who knows, Bill Buchanon is callin the game. Goin hysterical.

  14. Liberty Leads 37-36 in the 4th quarter. Coldsprings made a big comeback from what I understand. The Trojans just stopped the Panthers on 4th down and now have the ball early in the 4th.
  15. My wife was tired of dealing with the rain all night. She wimped out and went home, along with the scoring update. I'm stuck working in Kansas When she left, she said Danbury stopped HD on a long drive and was driving back down into the redzone on the Bobcats.
  16. Danbury Panthers score. The two point conversion is good. Danbury leads HD 22-14. 11 min left in the 4th
  17. HD's QB Sam Elliot throws an INT on the first play after the kickoff. Danbury ball on HD's 11yd line.
  18. Touchdown Tre Smith for HD. 14-8, extra point no good. Danbury comes right back and scores on the ground again, extra point failed as well. 14-14 3rd qtr.
  19. Bobcat's drive stopped with 14 seconds left to HT. Completion to Tre Smith down to the Danbury 18yd line, and he fumbles. Danbury takes over and runs out the clock. Halftime HD - 8 Danbury - 8
  20. HD beat Bmt. Legacy 58-12. (38-6 was halftime score) I don't know what the official word is on the forfeit. I heard HD had to forfeit the Buna game which they lost anyway due to an illegal player, not the Legacy game. Not sure what the official record is.
  21. You guys are right, it's all about tradition and believing. Some schools already have that, but usually the ones that turn things around, it comes from coaches who make the kids believe. I think it has to be a commitment from the entire community, but it starts with the kids on the field. If they believe they can win, and then they produce, the rest will follow and tradition is born.
