1. WOW!  Some of you guys who post on here are dillusional and quite hilarious.  Like in a previous post on this topic, some of you want to be coaches so bad it is rediculous but it is obvious you could never be.  WB does not have the numbers like other 5A powerhouses due to the simple fact that they have an enrollment of 2300 where the others have 4200 plus.  The talent pool is only so deep.  There has been talent at WB, this is true.  But, where WB had talent in several positions on the field, teams like Katy, Westfield, and North Shore have it across the board and on the sideline waiting to get in the game!  Also, there have been several times when WB playes those teams that there were injuries at key positions and other issues that they had to face.  Playing favorites?  This is true, a coaches favorite players are the ones that are going to give him the best chance to win.  Period.  Nobody said Stump was Nick Saba, but he is one HELL of a coach.  He has a way building a program and is one of the best of putting kids in position to win.  With that said, the game still has to be played, he can't play it for them.  Although, look at what he did when he did play.  Not too bad.  Yes, he did get knocked out of the playoffs int he second with one of the best backs in the state.  What did he do the following year with less talent?  Went deeper and knocked off a powerhouse in Hightower.  If he is an underachiever because he got knocked out of the playoffs and didnt win state, then you can call 98 percent of the coaches in the state that.  Against teams with equal or better talent, he may not have one them all.  But he never lost to Central or Ozen and only lost to PAM once.  But, I guess they had less talent.  He may or may not make the playoffs this year and may not win state at Atascocita. But he WILL turn them into a winning and competitive program.  He is a coach, not a magician, and a damn good one.  Some of you claim to be Bruin fans and supporters, but never have anything positive to say about the program. I have no problem with a little trash talking, but either get on the bandwagon or off, don't ride the fence.  Or better yet, get a job as a coach.  But you can't.  You either can't take the paycut, or don't have a degree and knowledge of football to do so.  Last, 82-5A, when and what were you doing on a sideline to almost get kicked out of a game?  Taking pictures or filming the band?
2. Wow, some of you people on here crack me up.  Where some of you get your info or your football knowledge is beyond me.  Hope West Brook pulls it together tonight.
3. Thanks Ragarm, that's what I have said all along.  Nobody thinks he is going to come in and roll through district and win a state championship.  But,  he wins.  It may take a year or two or three, but he wins.  He changes the attitude and beliefs of the program, the school, and the people.  He might only win 2 or 3 in district this year, that is a hell of a district.  Not any teams around hear could compete in that district.  Just wait and see, when they ALL buy into his system, like they did at West Brook, Atascocita will be a regular in the playoffs.  He is one of the best of getting all he can out of what he's got.
4.
What does WB losing have to do with Stump at Atascocita?  ???
Just sayin, that never happened under Stump.  SFA, learn how to spell.  It is spelled KLEIN!
5. No, that is an answer to the question about the vote.  Not an opinion.
6. Huge West Brook and Stump fan.  Anybody supprise by what happened last night?
7. If you looked at the numbers on West Brooks sidelines you will know what he was talking about the vote.  Stopping transfers has hurt the Brooks numbers and it is evident with the amount of kids on varsity at a 5A level.  There numbers are just now getting back up.  Ozen won and congrats to them.  But, all of you Stump haters from the past who have not been on here yet because you cant come on here and say "I told you so", everyone knows Stump would not have allowed what happened last night to happen.  Ozen could not beat him.  He finds ways to when!  And if you think he won't do that at Atascocita your crazy.  It may take a year or 2, but he will win.  Too good of a coach not to.  Stump haters, you got what you wished for.  So sit back and watch.  Gonna be a long year.
8. Sure is quiet on here.  Where are all the usual bleacher coaches from Beaumont chiming in with their expert opinions?
9. Ozen doesn't know how to beat West Brook!  Brook 21-7.

11.
Not much Brook chatter on this one? Did LP take the wind out of your sail? Well allow me to gust you...YOU HAVE BETTER BEAT DEER PARK, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN INSTANT ISOLATION AND HUMILIATION. Keys to winning: press their receivers and blitz one more then they can block...force Rainer to check to the running back. Rainer does like to throw passes of 10 yds or more. Tackle on run plays. Force DP to throw, make them a predictable offense. Be aggressive with your offensive play calling. Don't be afraid to throw it deep and often. Even if it is incomplete make them think a "open game" philosophy on defense.
What Great advice!  Where did you aquire your knowledge from?  The stands? Videos? Books?  What gaps should they blitz in?  How should they make the qb check to the back?  Cover the recievers?  I hope wb thinks of that!  Maybe they will try to tackle on run plays instead of just pass plays.  Maybe they can force the deer to throw it to the wrong team.  Have not seen wb being vanilla on offense.  They have been known to run AND pass every now and then.  Stay in the stands, Im sure the wb coaches saw the same things somebody told you plus a whole lot more.
12.
Just one of those years.  at least we get a preview for next year.
Season is not over yet.  You sure your name shouldn't be southend1 or northend1?  I haven't heard the fat lady singing yet!
13. Thanks, we have 3 teams that we were contacted about.  As long as he is happy, we are going to go with one of them if all goes well.
14. I would, but I coach/teach for a living and do not have the time to commit to it.  I would be up to help out, but could not "Coach" one.  I have had several requests to do so, but can't.
15. We tried out for one, told we were in, then I hear they are not adding anyone else.  After everyone already filled theirs.  Hopefully someone will have a spot open up.  But, it will have to be with a team in it for the kids.
16. Have an 11 year old son looking for a team to play for.  Can and has played any position, and play them well.  Bats left Throws right.  Team player that will do what is asked.  Great mechanics.
17. I am not sure who will be playing the first playoff game there, but it won't be the INDIANS!!!! GO RAIDERS.
