1. CONGRATS DEWEYVILLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Been rooting for yall...knew yall could do it!!
 2.
New Waverly will be pulling for Alto! Alto 28 sA 12
We would wipe the floor with you this year. Your lucky we went down to 1a!
 3. I believe Deweyville pulls this one out!  They are a stout team!
 4.
SA will get there holes exposed by a true dominant team here. Alto by 17.
What holes would that be?
 5.
Sa is pretty good, but I am going with Alto in this one.  More balanced and their defense isn't bulletproof.  WS, who was with out their best RB most of the game, moved the ball on them pretty effectively only punting two times.  Alto is more physical and bigger than SA is on the line.  They will run right at SA and pound the ball taking a lot of clock.  I believe Alto's defense is better than SA's offense who overall struggled against the WS defense scoring on a few blown coverages that Alto won't give up.  It will be a good one that could go either way, but I have to pick one, and thats is where Im leaning after seeing both teams.
Did you watch the WS game?  They only had about 150 total yards and you call that effective?  SA has 3 kids least 250+ on the line that trade back and forth to stay fresh.  Even if WS had their best rb missing for most of the game they had Lacey in the backfield and he was ineffective most of the game.  SA came up with stops when they needed to...
 6. This could potentially be the last game at Wolf Stadium before the new stadium is built!  Bond election is coming up....and everyone better vote!  With that being said...it will be senior night, and with all of the emotions being factored in it will be a long night for the Yellowjackets.  SA is very good at stopping the run, and that is that is what Alto does best.  Alto let WS score on em, SA did not let their offense in the End Zone.  The Wolves have been stingy on defense and looking a lot better on offense.  The Wolves want their 2nd district title in a row and Alto is standing in the way.  If SA comes out fired up....watch out!
 7. WS should drop off.  Top three should be Newton, SA, & Deweyville.
 8. Thanks guys.  Good to see yall winning in that district as well!
 9.

Good game Wolves.  Lets get this championship.  Crow Cafe open West Sabine....watch Grapeland take that 3rd playoff spot!
Congrats on the win. Tell me something though: when your DB tackles and holds our WR in front of the back judge, isn't that interference( a three armed, one eyed baboon could've made that call)? And also when you tackle someone by the neck from behind, isn't that a horse collar? And thirdly on the 2 point conversion I saw our player CLEARLY reach the ball over the pylon before going out of bounds. Before ANYONE  says this smacks of sour grapes I witnessed this from the SIDELINES, not the bleachers. I know I will catch flak for this, but quite frankly I don't care. Bring on whatever you want to say, and it will be promptly IGNORED in the order it was sent, so you won't get a rise out of me(no matter WHAT you say, but go ahead and say it).The game will go down in the books as a "clean" game with few penalties(I kept the offensive stats for both teams), but I know better. But like I said earlier, congrats on the win.
I was on the sideline too....I saw him grab the front of the jersey and pull him down.  Sa had the little pups number...you couldn't hit the end zone regardless.  The ws pups oline held the whole night....so quit whining.
 10. Good game Wolves.  Lets get this championship.  Crow Cafe open West Sabine....watch Grapeland take that 3rd playoff spot!

A good game against Alto is nothing to hang their heads about. The district championship is not out of reach for the Tigers. I thought early on that this district could easily end up a three way tie between SA, WS, and Alto. I'm pulling for West Sabine, an old district rival of HD. I see it: West Sabine - 36 San Augustine - 29
Have you seen Sa?  What makes you think that sa will lose at home?  So you think that sa will lose to Ws but beat alto?  Smh...just stick to hd...they arent even on the same level.  Never have...never will be.
Good lord man, they guy made a comment and you go all "big man" on him talking down his team from behind your computer!  He stated his oppinion and did so without disrepecting anyone or team.  You could learn a thing or two from that!!
Dont make me even start on you.  I'll tell him like it whether it is here or in person.  Go grow your stinger back....might be a while!
You're right, I haven't seen San Augustine. They may be way better than I think, and I do think they are a very good team. They beat Deweyville who handed HD a butt whippin. I think that West Sabine could have easily beat Alto and it wasn't like it was a blowout and not close. I think all three teams have their weaknesses and all three can be beat. SA may whip up on the Tigers and Yellowjackets for all I know, but my opinion is that San Augustine is over-rated and the third best team in that district. Not that that is a bad thing, considering all three of those teams are top 15 in the state in my opinion. I honestly hope San Augustine beats West Sabine and then loses to Alto so we get the Wolves in the playoffs. Anyone who thinks this is the same ole' Hull-Daisetta from years past that will lose in the first round by 40 is sadly mistaken. Ask Lovelady, Normangee, or Groveton how physical HD is, and they weren't even playing up to their full potential in those games. You guys from district 10 will be in for a heck of a suprise when you face HD.  Good luck to both teams friday night and Go Tigers!!
Imagine that butt whooping by Deweyville x 2.  You dont want SA...  Tell me this...why would I wanna ask either of those teams how HD is?  None of those teams are very good.....for crying out loud...Groveton got beat by SHELBYVILLE!!!

 14.
This has been awfully quiet! What's up with that?
West Sabine was rattled by that alto loss....their fans have lost confidence.  Team probably has too.  They also know that district title is now out of reach!
 15. Sa 41 Ws 35
 16.
WS has alot more speed than some of the guys you played..........WS will rebound in a close one 36-28
Speed don't help when your laying on your back at the line of scrimmage.
[move]He[/move] can't accept the fact that Alto is better than West Sabine and proved it Friday.  All this "WS eat themselves" crap is a joke.  Give up 40 points and thats beating yourself?  And if he wants to start talking playoffs West Sabine aint even close to Alto when it comes to playoff success.  He'll be crying with excuses again next week when SA wins.
Lacey is scared of Sa.  Sa knocked him out for the season his sophmore year.  He was not effective last year when we whooped em down. 35-0
 18.
update?
It is hard to get signal in that place.  I got 1 bar for 3 minutes and txted ya the score...
 19.
And let the excuses roll :)
Exactly :)
 20. Field looks to be in good shape.  As far as this weeks game...I do not think Garrison can stop our running game.  Our secondary will have to step up...they did pretty good against Deweyville last week, but gave up a few plays.  I predict that the SA defense will play a lights out game this friday.... SA 41 Garrison 21

Dville gave SA all they wanted.Dville is still going to good this year proud of these guys.Good fought game by both teams good luck SA on the rest of your season, some real good players there.
It isnt over till its over.... A bunch of bad calls...key calls...in all honesty this game should not have been close.  Those early scores that were called back would have took the wind of Dville's sails.  I do not know how that was not a safety after the Dville player touched the ball then went and downed it in the endzone??  Breaking with 12 men in the huddle and not one single call?  This is by far the worst officiated game I have ever seen since I have been watching HS football.  Also, I do find it funny that it was lightning for most of the first half, and when SA's D starting lighting Dville up on their first drive that is when they want to stop the game.  Dville has a scrappy team...might can even win district if their passing game develops!  Good luck...hopefully neither of us will see those refs again.
It was lightning in the distance, the school official had the meter on the field and was closely monitoring it, nothing there.  Agree with the calls, equally bad for both teams, fumble ruled incl pass at the Wolves 25 in 2nd half was also a big game changer and the Pirates inside the red zone 3 times and not scoring including the opening drive.  Bottom line is the Wolves made the plays and the Pirates did not. Wolves Coach said it best after the game, enjoy theses games with the Pirates cause they are always tough, hard fought games. Good luck to both teams.
If you look at the penalty yards for both teams it will not be equal.  Deweyville had what 40 yards in penalties compared to SA's 200?  I am not sure if that is the right number....but feels close.  I am also curious to see how many false start penalties Deweyville has with a fair officiating crew....The running back moves in the backfield constantly.  I feel that Deweyville was the last test that SA will have until Alto.  So it was good to play a scrappy team such as yall!
