Next day, suit them up for hoops, run a one hour practice and hit the boards. You grind out a season, unranked by any publication, height and all. The unranked Rebs beat Yorktown, ranked Milano, ranked. I know it’s hard for someone of your caliber to understand what it takes to take a 1A team to state otherwise you would not make such a ridiculous statement. Let’s not overlook the fact that Coach L contributed to the success of Nederland’s run by preparing many of the players from Nederland’s roster that appear on the Gold List in middle school, which you did not make that cut. The Gold List really has no value when they don't include Evadale's player who will be representing all of Southeast Texas in TABC All Star Game. Did we see any Gold List Mangers? Nope! ???

well no i am not i am from carthage. i just know that they made it to state last year and i think they did not lose many players from that team

bridge city was from what i heard the best coming into the season an looks like they are falling apart from the games i have seen them play this year does anyone know anythig? do the have any injuries? if the keep this up they may be calling it quit early for the firts time in a long time

[/quote] first of all evadale has played some really good teams such as  LCM, new waverly, h-j, crockett, dayton, cayuga, and kountze twice. now tell me were there is a week team in there. and name another 1a team with a schedule like that

Evadale only lost three players from last years state runner-up team how can ya put them in the second spot

I would hardly say he was "shut down"..Spurger did better and held him to 16 but allowed him also 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Coach Henry at H-D ran a box 1 defense with a man on him constantly and he still put up 15. He has had an awesome season as a SOPHOMORE!
