This is not difficult. Read the original post. FirsthOops posed the question to ask if Justin Williams' total yards where the highest in the Triangle. This should be the tops in the Triangle? The response was that he had about 2195. So the answer to his question is no, Williams did not have the highest total at 2195 because Mosley have quite a few more. No one degraded Williams or said his accomplishments were not noteworthy. The question was correctly answered, Mosley had more total yards than Williams. That is not hijacking a thread, that is called answering the question that was posed by firsthOops. How do you think it should have been answered, "someone had more yardage but we aren't going to tell you who it was"?

Maybe not at the moment but Lamar has been a top ranked team and competes on an even basis against the best teams in the country in baseball. Look how many Lamar players have signed pro contracts in baseball. That is not the case for basketball. I agree with you on the recruiting by Roccaforte. He will get the best players that he can and is reported to be a great recruiter. I think given time, he can build a winning program.

Being in the top 20 in basketball will keep some of the local players at home. If I was a top local player in any sport, why would I live at home when I could go to a big time program and be out of the house on my own. It is hard to get a young adult to stay at home when they are at that age of stepping out on their own. Only a winning program could even have a hope of competing with the highest recruited local players.

If you looked at the voting, there were a couple of players that were in the lead in several categories. Mosley was the leader by a wide margin in three or four categories. You can only one award and are given the highest award you were voted on. That leaves awards left open to more people.

no actually this is a thread about two ball carriers..one who plays for the university of Texas and the other who played for a 5-5 6-6 high school team.you are the one who brought everything else up..it just goes to show you that if you dont agree with everyone from nederland then they will dog you and your town out on here ..happens all the time.

He will of course stop short of saying what the rest of the year held for the two teams but who can blame him? You have to have something to hang your hat on. That is true in some areas. But as the coyotes knock down the deer population, theirs is likely to explode even more. It might eventually reach a point of overkill. I wish they could move some of those overpopulated deer to other areas of the state where they are struggling to gain population.

Did you ever book a hunt?

Once I get there, I will be limited in where I can hunt. I will have maybe 300 acres but it will be luck of the draw if it has water on that area. I am hoping to get a shot at a good deer by the second (or third) day so I can spend some time trying to bag a turkey.

Between pigs and coyotes, they are going to run deer out of Texas.

Another good thing about those straws, if you have a malfunction in one, you don't have to worry about clearing the jam. Just throw it away, grab a new one and get right back to shooting. I can't toss mine away.
