Well i guess we practiced against our jv cause we figured they were just about on the same talent level as coldsprings LMAO jk But i guarantee the backup qb we have on our scout team is just as fast if not faster than coldsprings qb!!!!
I seriously doubt that your back-up QB is as fast as Coldsprings'. If he was he'd have a spot SOMEWHERE on the field starting. Chad Allen can flat out fly.
If he's the same RB we scrimmaged, then I didn't see him run over anyone. He looked more a juker than a trucker. JMO
Not sure what team you played for that scrimmaged BC, but Menard has ran over, thru and drug alot of opponents.  He definately isn't a juker.....................
Shepherd.

4. Shepherd has a couple of good young lifters to watch out for! We always seem to have a pretty solid Powerlifting team.
5.
I think the 21-3a dist rushing leader Matt Menard can run past the line backer your talking about!!!

or over him
Make sure Matt tells that to Marcus in the game.  :D I'm more worried about BC's O line than anything, when we scrimmaged they were all short and stocky. Which isn't a horrible thing but playing against a legit D-1 talent who happens to be around 6' 6" it could get ugly for those small O-linemen.
6.
Pull that power formation in about half the time and Menard with a blocker in front of him will make the difference for an upset for the Cardinals!   ;D
I don't think BC wants to play the power game with Cleveland. They're better off just staying in the spread!
7. Coach Bob Jones down at Shepherd has won almost twice as much games in his first year at Shepherd than Shepherd has won in the last 3 years combined. He came extremly close to bringing Shepherd there first playoff birth in 10 years, and would of been only the 5th time in school history! He's changed the  school's and community's spirit about pirate football. He's brought the winning Spirit back to Shepherd and has got the entire community believing we can be winners again. He gets my vote for sure. We cannot thank him enough!
8.
I think Cleveland has a tremendous Defensive player. Don't know his name but he's a very tall kid think his number is 80 something. Also the Riddle kid from Shepherd.
88. Cedric Reed, big time D-I prospect. A huge kid, and athletic to boot. I just think he's a little raw. And yeah as stated above Clint Riddle is a Middle Linebacker and a real good one.
9.
Reed and Mallett in Cleveland on the defensive side
??? ??? what makes them so great? I thought they we're gonna be some just all around amazing players, especially the Reed kid, but they both still look raw. Nothing amazing like i thought they would be, but that was just the Shepherd game so i honestly can't judge them on one game. I know it sounds like I'm bashing them but I'm really not trying too, I just think that my expectations were set a little to high with all the talk about those too. anyways, I think Shepherd's beast are Clint Riddle on Defense and Amad Lewis on Offense. Clint because I just think He's one of the best Linebackers to ever come through Shepherd and Lewis half way because he's a beast running the ball and the rule in practices where you can't hit people below the belt which makes almost unstoppable. Lol.  ;D
10. yeah Kevonte was a play maker, but that's what you get with the fastest kid in the district. But, we lost a little bit of our speed factor but with Amad Lewis we gain a whole lot of power. We wont be in many 2nd and long situations anymore with him. He's a tank that could break away for 40-50 yards just instead of 90. I don't think that Kevonte's injury set us back as far as everyone thinks.
11. This horn was electric? Who was paying for the electricity? Where do you find a plug at a football game? It was Pirate electricity and said board member ask them to turn it off and they said they didn't have to! I was told thats when he unplugged the cord and they plugged it back in! After many times of unplug, plug etc. the cord was cut! lol
12. This will be a big game for Both teams as it has major playoff implications. Shepherd (2-2) play Liberty (1-2) at Liberty for their homecoming. The Pirates this year have come to be known as the Homecoming Crashers as theyve went to 3 homecomings and crashed all 3. They hope to do the same to Liberty but both teams want the play off spot pretty badly!!!! Who ya got in this soon to be great game??
13. I think It'll be... 1st Coldspring 2nd Cleveland (Big School) 3rd Shepherd I don't think Liberty will be ready for the Pirates that will be coming to Panther Land this friday, They love ruining Homecomings and happen to be 3 for 3 for a matter of fact. ;D I was at Shepherd's practice today and the intensity was INSANE... Liberty better be ready because the Pirates have been shut out of the playoffs long enough. They want this more than the Liberty players!! I know i basically cut Huffman out the picture but im kinda taking this one game at a time!
14. The man that cut cut the cord asked very nicely if they would stop blowing the horn when Shepherd was in critical situations and the horn blower was rude!!! So he unplugged the horn when she turned it to our stands and layed on it on 3rd and long!!!! Then when he asked again I do believe one of Clevelands board member told him he was just mad because Shepherd was getting their A** kicked. He then cut the cord! Don't worry though because the Cleveland band just showed class by playing racket everytime we tried to make a play! Show respect you get respect!! As for the horn I am thinking we will have our own horn in support of Coldsprings in few weeks where Cleveland will have their butts handed to them horn and all! New meaning to Sore Winners!!! You can't come into someone elses house and act like a spoiled brat! Way to go Shepherd Board member who is tired of people mistreating our kids! You have my vote!!!!
15. Before Justin Duke put on his pads, tied up his cleats and pulled the blue-and-white No. 51 jersey over his head on Oct. 2, he hadn't shed a tear. Not when he ran headlong into a wall at a junior high basketball game more than three years ago, not when an MRI showed a break in his C2 vertebra and he was airlifted to Texas Children's Hospital, and not when he was told he was paralyzed from the neck down. Miracle in Shepherd
16. Based on what? Where did you pull that from? based on fact. huffman will beat unless there is some home cooking from the refs or that mudhole slows the falcons down. huffman could have beat Shepherd by one hundred last year. Yeah because last year is the perfect way to judge this years Shepherd team, I mean Huffman did beat them last year. It'll probably wind up being the same exact score as last year with both teams running the same exact plays as they did last year. :
17. LC-M beat Cleveland, and all they do is run, extremly well i might add.
18. Big game for both teams, could almost seal up a play-off spot for either team with a W in this game. Cleveland comes in as the powerhouse of 22-3A, but Shepherd has made an incredible turn-around and wants to prove they can hang with the big dogs. Who ya got? 8)
19. Shepherd - 29 Splendora - 20 Final The wet field really gave splendora the advantage as they're a power running team while shepherd runs the spread but the Shepherd D cracked down and the offense muscled there way down the field to win. It was 21 to 20 till they threw a pass that was picked by Amad Lewis and ran back 60 something yards. what a game!
20. yes #9 Kevonte Shaw is out. Broken Femur, out for rest of year all the up to track. Should help splendora out alot. Kevonte was one of the best if not the best back in the district. Best back in the District? He's good but lets not get out of hand. Shepherd had some success in non-district and beat Tarkington. He was leading the district in rushing and was I think 4th in All purpose yards behind 3 QB's. I can't think of a better running back than him.

22. Christopher Ellisor, Shepherd 34-370-4 Tevin Braxton, Liberty 32-427-2 Joel Witwer, Huffman 29-597-9 Casey Martin, Huffman 31-508-8
