1. Where's that Wild Dog that worked so well last year? Sounds like the Dogs need to add a little wrinkle to spark the offense.
2. Can we at least finish the game before we start hounding officials? The Dogs gotta feel pretty good even though they are down... ...and the Indians should feel good because they grabbed some momentum at the end of the half.
3. End of 1st quarter Ned 3 PNG 0 ...going to get some food so I'll miss a little, but I'll be back
4. Another sack for Nederland. Timeout PNG before a 3rd and long
5. Both offenses sputtering early on. Nederland would do themselves well to use this field position. Raines off-target early again.
6. Personal foul on PNG on the punt. Ned ball on PNG's 32 yard line
7. Sounds like both D-Lines are dominating the game early on. PNG about to punt from their own 20
8. KLVI just announced an attendance of 15,000. That's awesome.
9. That's unusual. Nederland has always received when they win the toss as long as I can remember.
10.
Don't you think you should worry about winning a game first, before making a" statement"? I am sure the Pirates are shaking in their boots.
[ This.
11. For what it's worth, there is no live video feed of the game. You'll have to listen on the radio. FS Southwest will be doing live in-game cut ins to a sideline reporter that will be giving updates.
12. That's big time from Raines after having a rough night. That shows a lot of mental toughness. Good effort, Vidor, but this is where the tradition of winning in a football program makes the difference. The Dogs shot themselves in the foot a lot, but their will to win carried them tonight. If the Vidor kids continue to play hard, they will make the playoffs. They gave great effort all night...pretty impressive defensive backfield. Also, big props to Troy Benjamin. He's starting to find his footing which should help the Nederland offense a lot.
13. Could someone please explain to me how Lamar is a better choice than McNeese? Every situation is different - unless you're Ben, you can't say Lamar was a better choice. Taking into account all things football, I'd have a hard time taking LU over MSU. That whole tradition of conference championships, playoff appearances/runs, perennial top 20 ranking, and so on must be clouding my thought process.
14. Nederland WR having trouble holding onto the football. Announcers claiming there have been a bunch of drops
