[Hidden Content] Blame game.

This particular Device will automatically start recording when it hears gun shots and will continue to record until the officer turns it off. I have slammed my car door on many occasions causing the device to start recording without my knowledge. I am constantly reminded that the device is there to protect both me and the citizen. It has kept many officers out of trouble. Training is what keeps us all safe when it is done according to policy. Some things I can’t share. However, I can tell you that some individuals with Ice identification are in fact from different DOJ agencies on temporary assignment.
-
The axon body cam if that is the device that was used will pick up what was said whether a lawful command was given or if any command was given. The incident report has to match the body cam. That is why it is important to see what was actually said and who did what.
-
Stop with the what ifs. The officers body cam will provide all the answers. States can initiate charge, officers typically remove the case to federal court, where it is dismissed IF the actions were lawful and necessary.
-
As you stated, the officers body cam will definitely tell all.

Did toxicology report indicate he was under the influence?

Oldawg brought up a valid point. The evidence will speak for itself. I still believe training played a part. Several mistakes were made. What ever the crimes people may believe he committed does not justify deadly force. The initial shot from the ICE agent followed by the 9 additional shots ended this man’s life. Do people even know what crimes he committed? Remember, it was reported that he came there to kill officers which was stated before any videos are evidence was collected. Now we know today that there was no supporting evidence to support he was there to kill agents. Now there is a lot of finger pointing.

Violent protesters will always be met with the least amount of force necessary to subdue an individual. That is the law. Violent protester is your probable cause. That law has always been on the books.

Just ask the mods how many times I make corrections. As I get older I find myself repeating. I believe that comes with aging. Need more ginkgo bIlona.

It ms hard typing with old and chubby fingers on a IPhone and be left handed.

I wish that was a true statement. You have great officers and then you have bad ones. Remember New Orleans?
-
I’m sorry, I thought you not speaking. Thank you for responding.

There was no avoidance confrontation or deescalation. Which is apart of training. You just gave a perfect example. Bravino has just been replaced.

“President Donald Trump said he was placing his border czar, Tom Homan, in charge of the mission, with Homan reporting directly to the White House, after Bovino drew condemnation for claiming the man who was killed, Alex Pretti, had been planning to “massacre” law enforcement officers, a characterization that authorities had not substantiated” Excerpt From “Border Patrol chief to leave Minneapolis as Trump reshuffles the leadership of his immigration crackdown” The Associated Press

He was sprayed with O/C struck multiple times to the face with what appeared to be the OC canister and taken to the ground by 5 to 6 officers. Every officer shouting instructions. Gun is removed and victim is shot 9 times at close range. Sounds like proper training?
-
Lieutenant, the video shows the guy has his gun taken, he is on the ground, no real threat there. If my guys did that on the beat? We’d all be looking at prison time.
-
Lack of training played a role among other things. Did you say that on J6?
-
Several agencies train there. The curriculum is totally different for each branch. 6 weeks is shorter than basic training you. You are getting the very basics.
-
I completed training in Glynco in 1996. CBP training is for Border security not inner city crowd control.

US Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino previously said that at the time of the shooting, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were looking for a man named Jose Huerta Chuma during a "targeted" operation, and that Chuma's criminal history includes domestic assault, intentional infliction of bodily harm and disorderly conduct. The Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) has since rebutted those claims and said that Huerta had never been in Minnesota DOC custody and public records reflected only misdemeanour-level traffic offences from more than a decade ago. [Hidden Content] News out of Minnesota. When asked if the president agreed with top deputies labeling Pretti a domestic terrorist and insisting without evidence that he was out to harm agents, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said, "I have not heard the president characterize Mr. Pretti in that way." On whether top officials jumped too quickly to conclusions, she said the president "wants to let the investigation continue and let the facts lead in this case."

Kyle took a life that day and he was armed with an assault rifle and considered a hero. The individual that shot the young man is not on desk duty pending investigation he is still actively working.
