  1. You have to pass a test to drive, get a degree, enlist, get a job, and so on and on.. make these lunatics (anyone who wants a firearm) Pass a test to purchase the weapon and harder for ppl to get! That's not taking away your rights that's being responsible, and if they fail the test and have to borrow it from a relative or friend to commit these crimes, charge the individual who loaned them the weapon also! It'll make ppl think twice about loaning out their weapons
  2. I agree with this
  3. I'm all for my rights, and freedom but responsibility plays a factor also... as a society I thought we could do better, the more this happens the more ppl will move left
  4. On this particular subject the left does a better job at attempting to look like they care... the stunt Beto pulled IMO was a dumb one but his base will love him for it... the other side will be speaking at a NRA event soon
  5. 🤦🏾‍♂️
  6. I'm pretty sure me and many others have said this!
  7. I think all the names he mentioned have given ideas, they don't matter if they invoke rights
  8. Guess not, hopefully you don't have kids or grandkids that will endure this one day!
  9. Just a matter of time til it happens again, schools out so alot of parents will be debating sending their kids and I'm one of them
  10. Man I've posted many things law abiding gun owners can do! Don't confuse me with others, I've said many things on the subject that can be done, if it's my child's life or your rights your rights can go to hell for all I'm concerned! I'll say it again, I have 16 guns in total ak's ar's etc... I carry in my vehicle, so yes I believe in guns but I also believe not everyone should own a weapon And I'll say it again for the kids in the back who are on here struggling to comprehend! The individual deserves blame, at the same time this sick individual shouldn't have been able to get this weapon and carry out this attack.. from all things being brought out about this case if there was any test to pass to purchase this weapon he would've failed, ok so he gets it from a family member or friend even these ppl are saying they would've never guessed he would've bought these weapons so if he were to ask them they would've been curious as to why he needed it and why so much ammo.. Thus brings me back to Stephen paddock, so many signs yet nothing but casualties
  11. There is no compromising with clowns, everyone who's asking in a sarcastic way what law abiding gun owners should do to prevent the next attack is only looking for a debate on their rights! I'm down for all ideas to protect the youth, I have a 11 year old entering middle school this next year, I'm for whatever it takes to make sure he's safe while out of my responsibility! Maybe we need to get some retired vets in each community and pay them to secure our schools!
  12. Man this country needs to move more back to the middle! Common sense isn't so common anymore If you believe the lefts agenda your to far left, if you believe the rights agenda your to far right: common sense folks are left in the middle looking both ways scratching our head! There's only a handful of ppl discussing this making any sense... the others believe there's no compromising, to bad for the kids at the next school who will have to deal with this... ppl love saying history will repeat itself if we don't learn from the past... we ain't learned nothing, another member made a good point about 9/11 and things that changed soon after and we haven't seen anything in the same category since.... good thing about our school that my kid goes is soon after this happened they sent out a message saying they were doing more to protect our students... we have parking lot security and you have to be buzzed through 2 metal doors with cameras on you to enter school... we had a kid this past year that told some friends he had a list of kids he was going to kill, he also stated he would where all black on the day of the attack... police was notified immediately, they found the note and a pistol in his vehicle... kid got charged and apprehended quickly!
  13. I love it when ppl trash CNN even though they are pretty biased, then post a right wing or right leaning article or something that they like... there is no unbiased media or middle aisle outlets.. you have to listen to both and use your brain.. and by reading and looking through this site I see most ppl don't do that
  14. Why do we have laws that say a convicted felon can't own a weapon? Isn't that taking away someone's rights? I mean they go to prison and do time, shouldn't they then be able to possess? Which I'm not arguing that someone shouldn't be able to own if there a felon but I don't recall the constitution stating someone can lose rights to own if they're in trouble! "Shall not be infringed"
  15. Your kidding right? Clueless
  16. When we're discussing school murders, abortion has no relevance to the topic!
  17. Wonder why other countries don't have this problem 🤔? Mind boggling
  18. Good thing I care about both... wish more did, but their rights get in the way of that 👀
  19. Bonnie and Clyde had car and weapons, they chose weapons... just throwing that out there for the weak arguments I keep hearing about chosing a vehicle to do the same damage Carry on
  20. Im also tired of hearing and the go to argument about abortion when these discussions are being had... it's been mentioned on here multiple times SMH
  21. It'll be here quicker than we know it at this rate! 1 side yells shall not be infringed, Pro 2nd amendment etc... all these generations growing up dealing with this stuff and worrying will change things if we don't Ppl say ok, he could've chose a vehicle to run through a crowd.. even vehicles these days have sensors that will automatically brake for you if your bout to hit something or whatever, I know that's neither here nor there just a matter of things are changing daily for safety purposes... It's hard to keep someone from getting a weapon if they want it and to do damage, but let's take a different angle at this: let's say he didn't pass the test to be able and purchase the AR's and all the ammo as soon as he turned 18, and he went and bought or borrowed from a friend or whoever with alot of ammo... RED FLAG and whoever denied him the weapon shouldve alerted that... I'm not sure if that would help but surely we can do better For someone to shoot up a school with innocent children is a chicken $### and should've been shot once so they can subdue him and then hang him for the world to see and put that in the mind of the next idiot
  22. I don't think anyone here is arguing mental health issue here... the argument is how do you prevent these mentally ill ppl who throw up red flags for the world to see how do you keep them from getting a weapon and killing? Like I said earlier I guess we'll just wait for the next school shooting and see how many innocent lives are taken...
  23. Not everyone is armed, many Pro 2nd amendment ppl aren't armed at all times.. I'd waiver a majority of Pro 2nd amendment ppl don't carry... that argument won't work here I don't think the solution is taking away weapons that will never happen or work, it's more of what do we do now? Wait and see where the next school is going to have kids slaughtered? I have a son in school, own weapons, and don't believe every idiot in the world should should have the right to possess a weapon... we have things in place where not everyone can enlist in the army, drive a car, etc
  24. At least the person has a chance of fighting back.. JS
