I've seen both teams play Silsbee. WOS and Sparks defeated the Tigers, but Sparks gave up 6 runs. Silsbee beat HF 5-4. Not sure who pitched that night for HF. If both teams have their #1 throwing it could be the best game of the week. I pick Hamshire-Fannett, 3-1.

HJ has better pitching. I think Roebuck will be on the hill. (not 100% sure) That will be the difference. HJ wins 7-1.

If Sparks throws for WOS they have a chance. If he doesn't HJ runs away with it.

It will be Schooling's day to throw. Should be a good game.

Another great night for Silsbee pitcher Joel Schooling. He struck out 11. This gives him 21 K's in two games against WOS.

:? There is a lot of talk on this board about Silsbee getting a turf field. I'm wondering where people are getting their information. :?

If a turf field is coming to the Golden Triangle, it happens in Beaumont first. I could see the 3, possilbe 4 if you add Kelly, Beaumont schools having a "Beaumont Stadium" built. The teams could share the stadium. One team plays at home, one on the road, and one on saturday. This would make the funding a lot easier.
