My point exactly. Did I ever say that we hit them so hard we caused them to fumble? No but I did imply that our defense was faster than Buna has seen which in turn causes mistakes = fumbles. Bable all you want about if this and if that the fact remains that you lost after all of your huge margin of win predictions. And you can promise we will lose to this team and that but we will see. Afterall, seems your predictions are not too well anyway. Also, Buna - we are now watching and pulling for you. Hope you can get one against Deweyville or EC.

Isn't that part of what determines the game - turnover margin? If you cannot hold onto the ball then you don't deserve to win. Now, what is the reason you could not hold onto the ball. Could it be that you have not seen a defense like Anahuac's yet? Could it be because you have played weak 1A teams the for the first four weeks and now you have set yourself up for failure? Anahuac was comfortable because we have played faster, bigger teams this year - we are prepared for 2A - Are you??

I am interested to see how DV's running back (don't remember the name) is going to do against a really good 2A team. Good luck DV - hope the success continues but I don't see it happening. EC by 2 TD's

I wouldn't count Anahuac out just yet - I am looking at the caliber of teams Anahuac has played as opposed to the schedules of Deweyville and Buna. My predictions: 1) East Chambers 2) Anahuac 3) Deweyville 4) Buna 5) Hardin 6) Warren 7) Kountze I think that Anahuac, Deweyville and Buna all have a shot at the playoffs, depends on outcomes of their ballgames against each other. I really doubt that Warren will be in the top 4 or 5.

My prediction: Buna spoils Homecoming 40-0!!!

OK, you boys in the woods have eaten a few too many pinecones. . . . Wildcat - They have a good coach THERE, not their Everyone else, Deweyville has not shown anything that says they are above descent. On the other hand, Anahuac has not either but Anahuac does have a defense that will shut down just about anyone out there so don't expect some Cathedral 6 man football team out there when you play the panthers. Also, looking at regular season games, you will never get better. DV has simply scheduled the sorriest schools in SE Texas so that they can run over them and when they miss the playoffs the coach can say "well, at least we won some tough ones early!!

What in the world is going on here? Everyone is talking about Deweyville's RB and QB and about how well they did this week. Sure, they did fine but let's not look at stats I mean, they ran the score way up on a below average private school. Kudos Deweyville - maybe this week you will take it to Evadale as well and showcase your air attack offense again. As far as defense, way to go holding Cathedral to -68 total yards. Crap, how long was the first team in? As far as the rankings go on this site, placing Deweyville at or above the level of East Chambers or Anahuac is ridiculous. They are not even close to that level.

Thanks Tuna - Glad to hear that JV can pull together and get the job done. I would not expect that out of those kids but hey, it is great to be proved wrong.
