    I guess that great hitting, fast outfield couldn't do the job. Maybe they need a few Lineman to open up some hitting holes for their RB and WR. Or could it be they played HF instead of Anahuac? Congrats to Sparks on another good outing.

    Silsbee's freshman, Josh Skinner, threw a no-hitter against Shepherd's JV. Silsbee won the game 15-0.

    I've heard the football stadium has 2 score boards. Is there any truth to this? Is this the only high school football field that has 2 score boards?

    Jasper had a good JV team last year. From what I hear it is the same team this year. If that's true they have one of the best in the area.

    Silsbee wins 5-1.

    I've seen both teams play Silsbee. WOS and Sparks defeated the Tigers, but Sparks gave up 6 runs. Silsbee beat HF 5-4. Not sure who pitched that night for HF. If both teams have their #1 throwing it could be the best game of the week. I pick Hamshire-Fannett, 3-1.

    HJ has better pitching. I think Roebuck will be on the hill. (not 100% sure) That will be the difference. HJ wins 7-1.
