Ty Cobb

As long as Nolan Ryan is involved with the club, pitching will be addressed.  It may not be as quick as us RANGERS fans want, but it will happen.

Does anyone have any information on this situation? 

I don't care if Vlad hits .250 with 10 HR's and only 40 RBI.  The best part about this deal is that the RANGERS pitchers don't have to pitch to him anymore.  He was the biggest RANGERS killer in MLB.  That alone could count for 50 batting average points, anywhere between 5 and 10 HR's, 10-15 RBI, and probably 3 or 4 wins.  The only thing that could make this deal any better is if he were left-handed and swinging toward the home-run porch.   

WOW!  Remember when Seattle was as good as anyone up the middle?  Randy Johnson on the mound, A-Rod at short, and Jr. in centerfield.  That Seattle team could have been something to deal with if they could have kept those guys together. 

I'm pretty happy with this trade.  It gets Lackey away from the angels and Halladay out of the American League.  Both of those are positive's for the RANGERS.  The part I can't stand is that Cliff Lee is going to seattle.  That means the RANGERS will have to face him about 5 times this season.

If any of you guys play up north this week you may see a little weather.  It was snowing in Ft. Worth this morning.

[/quote] I don't think he was saying that AD wouldn't let the kid play baseball.  Some schools do not have a baseball class.  This would mean that you stay in football offseason all year long, during the school day, and practice your other sports after school.

Another tough one. I don't like anything, or any team out of philadelphia. (Well, maybe a philly cheese steak sandwhich.) I will be pulling for the dodgers.

Being a RANGERS fan, it is hard for me to root for the angels but I can't stand the yankees. I do, however, like the angels hitting coach. (Mickey Hatcher is a great guy) I guess I'll pull for the angels.

I sent my application in yesterday. Hopefully, I will hear something by the end of the week.

The playoffs are on the line. I'll take the HAWKS!!!
