Well, I will be the first to tell you, sometimes you make your own luck. There are certain things that we haven't done well at times from a player or situational perspective. The Horns turned the ball over way too much last night and took too many ill advised shots. Not to mention our defense at times is awful. I was genuinely wondering what the ruling is on that play though. I just don't understand with 4.6 seconds left and they inbound the ball and the entire play happens including a shot that goes in and then they took an absolute guess on how many seconds were left on the clock when it went in. I would have thought they would have made the whole play happen again since nobody can really guess how long it took.

The score keeper forgets to start the clock. Kid hits game winner with no time off the clock and the refs take a guess at the amount of time that’s run off!!!! That can’t be the official ruling???! Somebody please tell me what the actual rule is on that?

Absolutely not! I’m not mad at Huffman for anything. Their coach annoys me like how they have 9 fouls the whole game and yet everytime a whistle went against him he acted like everyone was cheating them. Don’t get me wrong if the refs are gullible enough to fall for it then that’s an advantage and these definitely did. I just hate how they ruined a very competitive game by taking out the best players from one side by calling it overly tight on one side. Hats off to Huffman. Good aggressive team with a good coaching staff.

In any case, it wasn’t just about how bad the refs were. It was more informational than anything else. The final score isn’t a true reflection of 85% of the game. It was a battle back and forth until Tarkington’s best player fouled out with 22 pts with 4 mins left in game. Then 2 more fouled out within a minute of each other and from there Huffman continued to press the backups once they where in even though they went up by double digits.

Didn’t say that, I said they were bad in general. Huffman shot 36 free throws and Tarkington shot 9…

7 pt game in the 4th until refs fouled out 3/5 starters including their leading scorer who had 22. Unbelievable!!!
