I'm thinking 28-0. But I could see Jasper scoring if Carthage offense does something silly or if that tough Jasper D makes a great play and scores defensively. However, if the Carthage Offense is truly improving and it wasn't just that they were playing Center's defense, maybe there is some wiggle room on the points.

What’s that winning percentage in title games? Thanks. 👌🏻 Maybe that’s the problem with the program. Everyone is real excited about beating up on a crappy schedule during the season year in and year out to put together this super cool win percentage, but then only go 50% in title games.

I understand why y’all do it. It allows y’all to play pretend about your team accomplishing things they can’t or won’t actually accomplish. Or daydreaming the demise of a team that won’t actually happen. More sad than anything.

EDIT (because I’m sure there are some good folks here): I haven’t dissed the site so much as some people on it, particularly WOS fans who act like the program is superior and one of the most accomplished in the state when really it pales in comparison to so many others. And last year in particular I remember all the trash talk about what would happen from a team that couldn’t make it there to even try. I hope it happens in the playoffs. Maybe it will even be a decent game. It wouldn’t have been last year.

WOS needs to take care of business and win enough in the playoffs to actually make it to Carthage. Instead of just talking about it every year and not holding up their end of the bargain.

As a Carthage supporter, I came to look at what people thought about the Manvel vs. Crosby game and also wish the Cougars and their fans good luck in this one as well as the rest of the season. I have mostly found Carthage and Crosby arguing. I thought for as sloppy a game as both teams played, both were impressive and should have a great season ahead of them. I think Carthage should be excited for beating a team like Crosby while replacing several starters at key positions and then also missing darn near your entire starting o-line and RB. I think Crosby should be excited and optimistic for how they played also replacing many starters at many key positions.
