Well at least he knows what to do then. Still don't think those baseball parents are going to be very happy at Evadale. Coach Williams was a great coach, and they didn't even try to get a baseball guy to come in there.

I wonder what their head to head record was. I know Warren beat the Dale last year. But I think that was the first time they did that in a while.

Well all that talk may not matter. Haven't heard that Buckner was taking the job. As of today it's still open. Along with head baseball, Jh/elem principal, and HS principal. So they still only have 3 boys coaches on staff.

They still have no super, no high school principal, no jh/elementary principal, no AD, no head baseball coach. And everyone else who works there, and the board, took the week off! 😂😂😂 And they haven't offered AD to one of the 3 boys coaches that are there. Absolute clown shoes over there right now

Evadale is open, but they have not posted a baseball position. And there is no one there who would take it.

On the Evadale website they have the AD job in with a high school history job! Who in their right mind would go teach a full load and be AD?! They also have both principals listed and the super. Nowhere does it say baseball. Guess they don't want a new Baseball coach. Pretty sure there's only 3 boys coaches over there right now. They only have the AD/History listed. They had 7 last year. Guess the board thinks 4 is enough lol. Talk about politics.

It's 45 days from the start of school. And that deadline has passed for most of the schools in this area.

Is it true the school board just hired that guy that got run out of Deweyville a couple of years ago? Deweyville doesn't even really push their basketball program and he wasn't good enough there! 😂

Pretty sure the pay didn't change since that article. And that goes for the entire district. Evadale doesn't pay like it did 20 years ago.

He still had another year left on his contract, but they paid him off.

The lone candidate for superintendent backed out at the board meeting if that tells you anything.
