Just happy that they finally won a game

Sure would like to see the Cardinals play like they did today the rest of the season

No pitching. Management, especially GM did nothing in offseason to help with pitching. Evidently the pitching coach is not very good. They may lead the majors in walking people. The bullpen may be the weakest in the majors and with Brown out no decent starters. May wind up in last place this season

Just don’t understand the Cardinals. They played really good vs Northwestern but can’t beat the last place team in the conference. It appears they tend to play to the level of competition Hopefully they will win the next 2

I apologize for the doubting. Boy, the way they played against Nichols and BYU, I thought for sure they couldn’t get it done. I screwed the pooch. I hope they finish the season like they played vs Northwestern

Lose to BYU 4-0. Appears that the Cardinals are getting worse as the season wears on. They have 12 conference games left and 3 non conference games. IMO, they go 5-10 and then 2 quick losses in conference tournament and head home for the summer. 19-18 now and look for them to be about 24-28 for the season before the SLC tournament. I would say a disappointing season when the hopes were high. They just don’t hit very well and the pitching staff is below average. Just my opinion after watching them

Finally looked like a team today. If they continue to play like today they have a good chance. If they play like they did yesterday they have no chance

Well I watched the game tonight and Lamar looked like a D2 team. The 3rd baseman cost them 4 runs by not catching a routine foul ball with 2 outs. The pitchers throw more balls than they do strikes. The hitters strike out way way too many times. They have not even played the 2 better teams in conference yet. I think we can safely say that it will be another year of no conference championship and we know how bad they play in the conference tournament They will be lucky to finish 500. How long are they going to keep Davis?

I believe I said at the end of last season that the GM should have been fired. He did absolutely nothing in the off season to acquire a good pitching staff

Watching the Astros vs the A’s and can’t understand why they kept Javier. He is not any good and the bullpen may possibly be the worst in the major league. I will say Diaz mistake cost them 6 runs

Lamar has struggled the past 3 games. Way too many errors, haven’t scored a run vs OS, and pitching staff is struggling, especially bullpen. They may be leading the nation in giving up walks

Yes good win and you are correct that is 2 games in a row where Abreu has had bad outings

Astros may have another rough season. Just didn’t acquire any decent relief pitchers Good win tonight but Abreu was pretty bad!

Yes you are not going to win many with only 5 hits and the last reliever in the game had a poor outing. Hopefully they will win series tomorrow
