  1. Correct. It comes down to who gives you the best chance to win and Mitchell thinks 6 or 7 guys give him the best chance to do that. This was the case with Lumberton last year as well because of depth issues. At the end of the day these are teenage boys and if anyone can play 32 out of 32 minutes it’s them. I think the only teams in this district who have reliable depth is BC and maybe Silsbee, lack of depth isn’t uncommon in 4A basketball.
  2. Looking at Lumberton they have two things going for them 1.) Brock McClure 2.) Size. I think these factors will be a problem for everyone in their district besides silsbee. Those tigers have athleticism and pure basketball skill on their side.
  3. I know it’s only one game but some people may need to re-arrange those district predictions.
  4. Yes that is him. He is a nice player and Jeffcoat does a great job with him. It seems like he is taking over while Doucette fades a little but only time will tell. If Elliot and Doucette are firing on all cylinders come district they will be tough to defeat.
  5. HF will be way more athletic and physical than HH. That’s a recipe for success in favor of HF. Will be two great battles between those squads.
  6. United is a different animal when it comes to basketball talent.
  7. I agree. It had to be a good reason to sit him. I think Mitchell will right the ship come district play. Good luck to both Lumberton and PAM from here on out.
  8. They hit them when they needed them the most. Number 0 hit a huge one in the 4th up 1, he has an unorthodox shooting form but they went in and that’s all that matters.
  9. PAM won by at least 10 didn’t catch the final. Lumberton cut it to 1 in the 4th but PA hit some big 3 pointers. McClure for Lumberton didn’t play the entire 4th quarter, don’t know the reasoning behind that.
