My opinion ain't worth a whole lot, but here it goes. I don't believe we can count on the "big" play against the cougar defense.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooo dont be talking like that! LOL... Them Broncos got this  ;D
Don't mean they can't win. Just mean they're gonna have to find ways to move the ball consistently for first downs. Drive down and chew up clock. I think the offense might have to "adjust" some and maybe break out some new wrinkles. Course they got this!  ;D

I look for this game to get ugly quick. ;D
If it does get ugly I'm 99% sure F'wood players wont allow that to happen from their end plus Van Meter doesn't tolerate that kind of activity to occur from his sideline or heads will roll!
Don't want to put words in his mouth, but I think he just meant the score gets ugly in FW's favor.

 4. Regarding tailgating being allowed at Stallworth Stadium; I'm working tonight with two long time Baytown residents who say that it is allowed but obviously NO ALCOHOL on school district property. This is not official info but pretty reliable. Have fun PNG/Manvel fans and a good game to all! Hopefully we can survive to meet the winner next week.
 5. "Good ones - and why does everyone always pick on the Chronicle! Yall are just expecting too much, like accurate stats and coverage!" At this point of the season, I'd be happy if I could even look at the inaccurate stats! Still can't look at more than one page before it locks up! AAARRRGGGHHH! >:(

Manvel has 6 linemen over 6'4" and 300lbs. I read in an earlier post that one of Manvel's QBs has an offer. I know factually that 9 Manvel starters have offers and we are looking at 4 on the 2nd string. What we love about m=Manvel's depth is that 3rd and 4th quarters are normal played by Manvel's 3rd and 4th string players.
OK my side hurts now from laughing so hard. Eye's are watering. OH MAN I can't stop laughing. Crap I just shot water out of my nose laughing again !
Guys, guys, can't ya'll spot smokin baby(BH89-2) when you see him? I gotta admit though, this one is actually funny! Last week he disguised himself as a Kingwood Park player but blew his cover. Blasphemy!!!!! HAHAHAHA!  :D

I tried to find that site a couple days ago, found one that may have been a different site because it had LM winning 56 - 0! Lol! I immediately closed the window!
[Hidden Content] Shows their schedule and power ratings.  The Texas City game has me puzzled.
hmm thats the one I went to, and umm the other day it had 44-0. Oh well... Who ever plays smarter, more disciplined, and turn over free, will win this game...
I figured out what I was doing wrong. I had La Marque playing Dayton High from Kentucky! Lol! I agree octfeb. Turnover free!!!!!!!!
Montgomery over Dawson by 10 Friendswood over Humble by 3 (wish Humble would win, but i just dont know)Manvel over PN-G by 7 Dayton over La Marque by 4
I think you might get your wish. I feel like this will be the best defense FW has seen all year.

 11. My take after watching the Yates game is (which ain't worth much): The Broncos are gonna have to mix it up on offense to keep an aggresive, talented, and very LARGE defense off balance. I think you're right Bronx about the screen passes possibly being succesful. Anything they can do to get all that beef moving one way, then....BAM..there goes the ball the other way. I'd love to see Lil Pony in some draw or delay plays. Roll Hererra out and see if he can find the broken coverages. Sounds easy huh.  ;D On Defense, I'm not worried about Mr. Wright. Whether he plays or not, the Bronco D will keep him/them in check. Dawson held him to 53 yds. It can and will be done. I'm more worried about their short pass game. They look to pretty efficient at it. Ball comes out so fast there's no time for pressure. I think the biggest factor will be Dayton's linebacker play. I would also hope we can get a lead on these guys and make them play catch up. If that defense of theirs gets confidence and momentum, it could be trouble.
 12. I have to go with Dawson in this one. Their overall team speed and athleticism will overpower the Bears. Dawson 35 - 28
 13.
The man with the feed store put a sign up about 5 years back that said: Beat The H*&% Outta...(insert team name) A woman came in the store and asked him if he was the owner and the one that put that on the sign.  He told her that yes he was and that was in reference to our upcoming playoff game.....that he was a big Bronco supporter.  She stated that it offended her and he shouldn't have it displayed.  He told her that if it offended  her, the other side of the sign was for her.  She asked, "What does the other sign say?"  He said, "Corn - $3.25 a bag".   She got mad and left!
:D :D Okay now come clean the tea outta my keyboard!  :D :D

 15.
Those games that 24-4a played last week, shouldn't even count as games, those Houston teams SUCK
You may be right, but it doesn't change the fact that FW, Dawson, Manvel and La Marque are very good teams that have to reckoned with.
 16.

:oLMCoog-- Your very ignorant to think LM has a chance to beat Dayton. I might be a NEWBOOTBRONCO but I know Dayton WILL WIN! I won't be there but I will be for ROUND 4 the next week!
I know you're a Dayton fan... but the bolded part makes you sound like the ignorant one. You won't find a much bigger bronco fan than me, but that post was ridiculous.
Agreed.
 17. I'm sure everyone realizes that there is chance for an all 24-4A regional finals. Humble, Dayton, Montgomery, and PNG cannot let that happen! I would imagine most people agree that 24-4A, top to bottom, is definitely the toughest 4A district in region 3, but that certainly doesn't mean there aren't some other teams in the area that can knock 'em out. Of the four games this coming weekend, who has the best chances? I'm predicting a 2-2 split. Humble, and Dayton (of course  ;))
 18.
I think Dayton may very well be a basketball team in football uniforms.  They really are not very good all season and turn it up come playoff time.  Can't deny that.  That being said, Stewart may very well have a bunch of new kids out there he pulled form all the losing teams and nobody knows it...........  ;D ;D Congrats Dayton.  Go as far as you and the other players from the other 12 teams will take you.......  ;D ;D ;D
Is that another one of your jabs or a compliment?  ::)
 19.
w/ sites listed
Some of the coaches have been on here and confirmed that it is Tully Stadium @ 2:00 pm Sat. Galena Park was the preliminary site agreed upon in case they couldn't get a mid-day game site. Tully is a great place to play!
 20. I wasn't at the game but listened on the radio. Sounded to me like the Broncos still need to work on the offensive penalties. They stopped themselves on a couple of drives because of this, and last week it cost us a possible touchdown which led to a missed field goal. And yes, the pass defense is much improved but can still be exploited by a good passing team. On the other hand, the pass rush sounded like it was consistent the whole game. I still wish they would pass a little more. 14 attempts yesterday. Great receivers, accurate QB, great O line. But hey, it's working the way it is.  8)
 21. Isn't Wilson (from Lamar Consolidated) now coaching at C.E. King?
 22.
I agree about Sam Kahn.  That guy is straight garbage.  I wouldn't wipe my backside with an article written by Sam Kahn.
isn't Sam Kahn an intern?
Yea for about 5 years now!
 23. Since this thread was posted by "Texans" I'm going to assume that this is set in stone. Sat. 2pm @ Tully Stadium. Am I correct in my assumption?
