What happened?

Kountze has been pretty consistent in their rotations throughout district. Outside of the OF game, they have been rotating 5 at a time around the 4 minute mark of each quarter. Sometimes rotating 4 and leaving Sells in the game, but players 6-12 have seen a ton of minutes in district play. They are pretty deep this year.

Kountze got several free throws the last minute of the game with Orangefield fouling to stop the clock. The referees played no part of either game. The foul count in the Kountze/OF was 14 to 10, with 3-4 of those being intentional in the last minute to stop the clock.

Kountze has not looked like Kountze for a couple weeks now. I'm betting this loss is the wake up call they needed. Coach Neuman will have the refocused.

My Kountze -12 prediction was pretty close, but not the game I expected. Glad to get out with a W against a top 15 team shooting the ball the way we shot it tonight. Forced a lot of turnovers and missed lay ups or short jumpers. Never got the 3 ball going. It happens.

Sells 9 pts Scales 5pts Points have been hard to come by in the 1st half. Gotta score off turnovers and make some easy shots.

Kountze is probably shooting under 20%. We need to start knocking down shots.
