22-3A could come down to the wite, as usuall with last couple playoffs spots. Anahuac is a bit better than I originally thought they would be. With Buna and Orangefield playing a fairly tight district opener, it should be a fun district to watch.

He was a point away from a triple double. Offensively the points were spread, but as AAW provided, Kountze struggled shooting. As far as playoff runs, Kountze can make a run if the dominoes fall right. In my opinion their best run will be next year. Essentially bringing all their minutes back next year.

It didn’t feel like they had a ton of opportunities. They are really working to get the ball up the floor.

Kountze didn’t shoot the ball very well at all that half.

Nothing major on this end. I was curious if the slow start vs Warren for Kountze or the loss to Anahuac for EC Tuesday changed your impression on tonight’s game.

I wasn’t too surprised here either. I watched a couple Anahuac games earlier this season. They lost a good bit to graduation but they are very well coached this year from what I saw.

3 of the top 5 in 2A I got to see at the Tenaha tournament. Timpson won over Martins Mill and what I saw from that group I would have Timpson, Martins Mill, then Lipan. But they were all 3 pretty dang good. Timpson was far and away more athletic. If they ran an offense outside of improvised isolation they would be extremely tough.

I haven’t seen EC this year. What’s your line for Kountze/EC this Friday?

He was not. Would have made it a closer game for sure, but wouldn’t change the result.
