5. This thread is probably getting dangerously close to getting locked. I'm pretty sure rumors and speculation about Ned is what got others locked Ijs. I know it's fun to kick Nederland while they are down especially the way they have dominated the district over the last 5 years...I've followed Nederland for a long time and I would like to think LN is a smart coach and wouldn't intentionally play a player who is ineligible as a 'Desperate measure' to try to get over on the distict and the UIL. There was an awful lot of talk on this website, game broadcasts and the newspapers about him only being at Ned for a short time and I'm sure that raised some eyebrows along the way...hopefully it works out OK. And until the official ruling and story comes out its all just speculation at this point....just my two cents lol
6. Ned is not a bad team, the pieces are there it seems. But with injuries and UIL issues it hasn't all been together at once....WOS handed it to them, but 42 points is the closest anyone has played them all year (for what thats worth ), one point loss to Dayton and a good Vidor team in OT and they beat two weaker opponents they way they should have....and with LN walking the sidelines you can never count the Dogs out. This game will be closer than most people expect, maybe within 2 scores.....im sure PAM is excited to play some new SETX teams and most with in a decent driving distance! Hopefully Nederland can get it together since the season is half over and maybe pull off the upset....GO DOGS!
7. Central and Lumberton also play in Nederland again this year and Nederland is at Ozen and PNG again this year. So Vidor isn't the only ones having to play at someone's Else's house 2 years in a row. ...who decides the district schedules as far as home or away, is it the district or the UIL?
8. Thanks REB, Yeah Ned has been used to winning, especially in district for a long time! Good luck to the Pirates the rest of the way, looks like they will still be playing come week 12.
9. Congrats to Vidor on a big win. Looks like they are getting themselves in a position to return to the playoffs! ...they also become the first team not called GCM to hand Nederland a district loss in the last 5 years...congrats again Pirates! :-)
10. Dude. I did and I think Vidor was the first to complain. Lol.
11. The rivalry is alive and well it appears :-) And good God imagine when Lumberton and Vidor play all the complaining about the refs that's going to take place lol. Go Dogs take control in the second half!

13. Seems like Nederland has some good QBs to choose from, no matter what. And Vidor has been playing good ball. Should be a heck of a game. Nederland 38 Vidor 31 Go Dogs!

16. Sounds like a much better game by Big Ned tonight! Was the talk of the Dogs big demise premature?..........probably! WO-S is going to make a lot of teams look bad this year.....Time for District play next week, Go Dogs!
17. Is this the SC thread or the Ned Vs. Dawson thread? I am confused...
18.
Was that last game against Dayton the first game all year Nederland didn't have a INT?
I was wondering the same thing....I think it may have been.
19. Didn't know you had to be dominant to win.....Big Ned wins again Friday.
