Reminds me of the video recently posted of SCJ Clarence Thomas talking about learning to live with other cultures and how to make life long friendships with people who may have opposing views. When I couldn't live on minimum wage, I had to work harder or make a career change. For those that have too much... I wish there was a box one could check to donate a % of income for these people that can't live on their wage. Thanks to inflation, my living wage doesn't allow me to live much anymore. Just keep paying taxes and it'll all work out, right?

This is a major problem another area school too. To answer the question, yes we did have police at school. Started with DARE officers in elementary and escalated to the campus cop in HS. This reminds me of the first time we were introduced to a K9 officer. Parker Thompson brought his partner, Ali. And they staged a demonstration where he found COCAINE in a girl's bag. We were in elementary school, but that made a lasting impression on many of us.
