A lot of times there's a surge with the lightning that ends up being the problem. We will see.

I've seen it go both ways. When we had a bunch quit, we lost 4 reg season games. 5 total counting the 2nd round loss to Waller. Finishing 7-5 was terrible season. Some people never let me forget about that year. Then once the group of sophomores that replaced those seniors grew up, we did pretty good the next couple years. Another time when the Sr QB... left, we called up a young sophomore that led us to 3 straight championship games. Winning 2. But you already knew that. I think Nederland will be fine after they get some experience. Probably not right away, and I hope not week 1 at WOS. I'm looking forward to it. Aug 26 is right around the corner.

Agree with this completely. Now let's see if they can compete with these 2. Again it takes guts to play state championship caliber teams when you don't have to. Aug. 26 - at Franklin, 7:30pm Sept. 2 - Newton, 7:30pm

We must've seen 2 different scrimmages. I recall 3 scores but who's counting. Credit WV with everything they did well. Don't let the Eagles head swell too big. Be proud of what they accomplished against us. Takes guts to come to our place for any competition. I see WV as a winner or runner up in their district. Good luck the rest of the season.

It was posted as a conversation piece, not gospel. I don't know how they come up with those rankings. But it does raise this district up a couple notches. We shall see.
