2.
Looks like the "Country Folks" over in Orange County have taken a step up. LCM drove the Homecoming Queen around last night in a convertible Lamborghini!!! Never even seen one of those in Mid-County. ;D
Jamaal Charles has a white one, and yes he is the proud owner of a home in Port Neches

exactly, they made changes but im not holding my breath, does anyone know who the orangefield kid is that transferred and played linebacker this passed week, heard he has been here three weeks waiting on uil decision because he was blocked by bobcats coach, rumor has it he is a sophomore and will be the starting qb next year, any info? btw any other kids from schools out there that can play defense are surely welcome at the REZ it was nice to get a win in district and not go home with bad intentions lol. i will say that the cheesy score we gave up on the opening kickoff of the second half got my blood pressure up, our special teams could use some insperational tuning up also lol,
He was a QB in Orangefield He actually moved here last year. He is not a QB, but plays strong safety but played outside linebacker last week. He is around 6'3 200lbs and doesn't mind hitting, ask the Lumberton QB...
8.

I just dont understand why all of a sudden when you get a new young hot shot coach in there everybody is jumping on the bandwagon?? The support or spirit was down the last years in the Burnet era who IMO is the face of the PNG Athletic Program.
The answer to your question is simple: for the first time in a quite a while, everyone in the PN-G community feels like they have something to be proud of, and I'm not just talking about football. I started a thread on the PN-G site a little while ago that outlined the accomplishments of Port Neches-Groves High School and its various amenities over the course of the 2009-2010 school year. This list of accolades was long at the time, and now it's even longer. Our band competed at the Area F Marching Competition, our football team went undefeated through the first round of the playoffs, our volleyball team went to the playoffs, our basketball team had its first winning season in several years, our baseball team is tied for the second place slot in our league, both of our soccer teams took the district titles and went to the third round of the playoffs, our high school is a recognized school in a recognized district, our UIL Academics team recently took its 10th consecutive district sweepstakes award (the equivalent of a district title) - and this is just what I could think of and type in the space of a few minutes (trust me, there's more). These are great times for PN-G. We're performing well on every front. The Indian Nation realizes that and is getting excited. The Indians are on the warpath, and as good as this year is, I can't shake the feeling that next year is going to be even better.
Nice article. To add to your list, the softball team is tied for 1st in district.
 9. According to the director of student activities at PNG, no parent is allowed to be in contact the school money.  That is the reason why they are paying the cafeteria ladies.
 10.
Just wanted to say congrats to a certain area Catholic school.  It's refreshing to see them playing with players that aren't recruited.  Hopefully their former "coach" has decided to stick to his day job, (which I doubt he does very well either).  Go Bu**D**S!!!!!
Wow, someone is JEALOUS of Trout.
 11. We know you have a purple shirt.  You were busted with it last year at a PNG softball game!!  If it has been "misplaced", I am sure someone from PNG could loan you one.  Ains is gonna drop her extra one off to Big Mike this afternoon so he can wear one also!
 12.
I say we quit posting on here since that is just egging them on and let them find out for themselves come Friday night.
I agree. They get on here and have the nerve to say PNG is cocky, they need to go back and read the posts from their own fans.  I am ready for the excuses come Saturday;  the refs were one sided, they had injuries, PNG got lucky; but I am pretty sure they won't get on here and admit that PNG played a great game and deserved to win.
 13. PNG wins 3-0  IF PNG wins Tuesday and Ozen wins against LCM on Tueday, PNG and LCM would be tied for first.
 14. This should be a great game.  Good luck to both teams.
 15. First of all, I never said anyone of these girls do not play hard. In fact, they give it their all. You are quick to remind me that you are a coach. So what. Just because you coach does not make all coaches good. Lets face it, some are there because they want to be and some are there for the money. Oh don't say that the money is not great. I am aware that coaches are not the highest paid people around. A good coach is there because he/she wants to be there. As far as football, there were over 70 boys on varsity last year. Not everyone graduated. You need to read the posts on the football side and you will see that alot of credit is given to the new coaches and the players.
 16. I am not at all saying there are not good players at the high school level. They are not surrounded by the best coaching staff. Remember football last year, they had a losing season. The talk all over the area, including this forum, was the team lacked coaching. Wow, a new coach comes in and they are now winning. We only got new coaches, not new players.
 17. The coach runs off alot of talent at PNG with her attitude. This coach told one player that she worst basketball player that she ever coached. You will never make me believe that both middle schools are successful and when these same girls get to high school they lose all of their skills. At the athletic banquet in the spring, each coach from her respective team stood up and said something good about her players. That was until the basketball coach got her turn. She did not say one good thing about her players, all negative. Jaws dropped as she talked. That night should have been about praise, regardless of their record.
 18. to bad for the player who got hurt. Hopefully, she makes a full recovery. I know what you mean your team did not show up. I think every team goes through that. Good luck next weekend.
 19. Was someone's dinner paid for last night?
