For those that say it would take away from the coaches using strategy, I say it would create much more need for strategy throughout the ENTIRE game.

Shot clock would be sweet. High school scores in the 30's are ridiculous. Push the ball, push the tempo. In other words play basketball.

NB Dawg help me out. What is Nederland's district win streak? I know its 20+

Ozen travels to Nederland Tuesday night Jan. 17 AAW has Nederland by 8. Will Nederland remain the only undefeated team in district?

Games like this come around every once in awhile. I bet Nederland will be more than ready to redeem themselves next Tuesday night. Any way you look at it Dogs remain undefeated, 5-0 !!!!!!

Great win Dogs!!!!  Nederland took the early lead and really dictated the tempo of the entire game. Central NEVER had the lead.  :D :D

Not excusing what happened.......but.....IMO women have no place refereeing men's basketball.

Nederland has a really good team this year, they will be even better next year. Nederland will continue to have winning teams because Coach E has developed a winning "program" which gets kids involved and developing their skills at a very early age. Coach E deserves a tremendous amount of credit for what he has done in Nederland!!!

Its district play now, you can throw the results of that 1st game out the window.  I think we will see a much higher "do or die" type intensity. Having Coach E on our bench gives Nederland an advantage in EVERY district game!!

Good win jags...BUT.....don't expect the same results Tuesday.  ;)
