1.
I'm sure there have been talks between the city of Beaumont and Lamar about hoisting this event. Makes me wonder if the rumors about going to a FBS anytime soon is accurate. I don't see Beaumont as a player for the SLC MBB/WBB tournament if Lamar isn't in the SLC.
I see it the other way.  Every time they have had the tournament at a neutral site it has been in a town with no Southland teams, Houston (Katy, Aldine) and Shreveport.
 2.
64 to 41 Lamar. Time out Nicholls!
No No No !! Your not going to get me this time.  I have fallen for this before this season.  GREAT they are winning let me turn the game on.
 3.

I guess the Lamar fans are taking the news pretty hard. No posters...
Okay. Lamar to the WAC, done deal. ;)
WOW that was close, THANKS Aggies!  ;)  I was taking it pretty hard.  NOT!!  ::)
 4.
Update on WAC... [Hidden Content]
After reading that article, Lamar is a LOCK.  Nobody else wants to join the WAC.  ;D
 5.
Is this WAC move a "sure thing" like LeFrederick Ford signing with Lamar?   :D
There is one major difference, Ford had a choice.  The WAC,,,, not so much.
 6. I hope Lamar has made their decision on the move by now.  Because this could be a great recruiting tool for coach Woodard.  He is not recruiting for an FCS but for FBS.  By the time these players graduate Lamar could be in an FBS conference.  So if young Mr. Ford is on the fence....
 7. I didn't notice but heard on the radio after the game he was back to finish his degree.
 8.
I know that would be cool to say we hoisted UT or A&M at a neutral site but I'd rather play at their place with a guarantee of about $900,000.
Now someone is thinking.
 9. I just wanted to know if anyone had thoughts on which is better for an 8 year old.  I know Pony and select play coach pitch at 8 while Little League is kid.
 10.
So we have the worst rushing offense in college football, one of the worst defensive lines in FCS play, our QB has turned the ball over more than 20 times in 10 games, our offensive linemen and defensive linemen are outmatched every week and we have a one trick pony offense.  Yet we are probably going to finish the season with 5 wins!  Sounds like Coach Woodard needs an extension if he can win five games with the clustermess that he had to work with his first year.
I like this post.  I also like the word CLUSTERMESS.  ;D
 11.
Chill out Nick we are the people you need to please.  It only makes sense that LU would want to televise games it should win!
I pretty sure Lamar did not think they were going to win the game at SFA.  So that is not the entire criteria.
 12. Yes, Stroud will have his PGA card for next year.  Stroud finished 102 on the money list.  You have to finish within the top 125 to secure your card for the next season.  Stroud came into this event ranked 119 on the money list. With this being the last event for the season.  With a bad showing here he could have he could have easily fallen below the magic number of 125. This happened to the guys that were ranked 123 - 125.  Stroud showed a lot of poise and got the job done.
 13. I know what is wrong with raider.  Raider likes to bet on football.  He had Lamar losing by 24.  It looks like you missed that one by a BUNCH. What did you say?  Oh YEAH.. This one get out of hand early.  WRONG AGAIN!!! For someone who KNOWS football you sure are off the mark.  You say that you don't believe in excuses but yet you take the time to cry about them.  As far as your mystery safety goes there wasn't one.  Neither ref signaled for one.  The angle that was shown on tv was from in front of the goal line.  And even with that angle the ball made it out of the end zone.  You also talk about people not having a life.  This is coming from someone who said they have "better" games to watch.  Yet you sat and watched the whole game of a team you don't even like.  NEXT item you say to bring facts to say why it was a good game.  Yet when they lose your only statement is they quit.  I guess they didn' quit today.  Was Lamars game perfect?  No.  But you don't see many percect games in football.  For someone who "KNOWS" you should know that.  And in the end all that matters is that you did more right than the team that lined up across from you. Well I just hope you didn't lose your rent on this game.  Ok, to be honest maybe a little part of me does.
 14. I think recruiting for Houston could help Lamar as a whole.  There are a number of kids who want to "go away" to school.  If one of there friends is recruited to come to Lamar MAYBE a couple more will come on their own.  That means staying on campus and helping the college atmosphere.  Houston is a good place to draw students from.  It is far enough away so student feel they have some independence.  And close enough to go home and have mom wash your clothes.  ;D
 15. Is the Nov 4th game date right?  That is a Friday.
 16.
Georgia State are who we thought they were and we let them off the hook    sorry couldnt resist
You owe Dennis Green a nickle.  ;D
 17.
Please just state the facts and do not get personal with your observations
So I state the FACTS, LAMAR against GSU two first year programs.  The stats and EVEN THE SCORE are almost even and you reply stats are for losers. The topic of this post "Could LU coaches be over their heads."  The FACTS show no.  If they were over their heads the game against a similar opponent (GSU) whould have been a blowout.
 18.

Lets compare apples to apples.  Lamar at GSU two first year programs against each other.  Total offense from that game was LAMAR 357 GSU 322.  Penalties LAMAR 5 - 45 GSU 8 - 65.  3rd down conversions LAMAR 6 - 14  42%  GSU 7 - 15 46% . TURNOVERS were even at 1.  LAMAR loses the game by 6. NOTHING in those stats say that LAMAR coaches are in over there heads.
The stats 2 weeks ago had the Dallas Cowboys a top 5 NFL team.
By the way that was over a month ago after the win over the Texans.  Not two weeks ago.  Just FYI.

 20. From what I saw the teams looked about equal.
 21. I'm not happy about the loss BUT, that looked like the best three quarters of football they have played in a LONG time.
