Cant think of that one off hand myself... but i personally would sure like us to stick with one qb...i just think it allows the ofense to flow so much better besides the obvious take that we are going to run the ball so much more with one versus the other.

Newton definitely is the favorite in this one. We did a pretty good job friday night containing RJs running but still gave up over 200 yds rushing from the stats i saw. Not sure how good Newtons passing game is but i know they can run the ball. Our offense is too one dimensional. Newton will have plenty of speed to offset ours, so those big play scores like the 2 we had friday night will be even tougher to get. One thing to our benefit is that at least by numbers the depth issue shouldnt be a big factor like it was this past friday. Hopefully we can make some adjustments and make a better showing this friday.

Not a knock on that d but it helps when there isnt much of a threat to throw the ball.

Several key players going both ways , good decisions on the offensive side for png in routes and by Johnson. Also I am not a fan of the 2 qb system.... falling behind by 3 tds at half put us in a very tough position against this offense especially without a big passing attack.

RJ picks up on this first drive of the second half with the completions mixed in with a couple runs. PNG receivers getting open with well run routes and backs coming out out of the backfield.

He is picking them apart. Hitting a lot of those short to mid range passes.. as soon as our secondary gets a little to deep on the coverage he hits the receiver. He has had a few nice runs but that part has been contained pretty well. Was going to be tuff going into the second half down by 14 and them getting the ball first but now it’s going to be very tough.

I think the play was there and if I saw the right player throwing the ball he has been working at qb this year. Receiver looked open ball just came out of the passers had before he was ready.

Pick 6 on a trick play pass that slipped out of the hands of the passer. 35-14 at the half. Also a Tiger with a very unnecessary penalty on the play.

That last TD was a nice run by Johnson. So far it has been his arm doing the major damage.

I noticed on a Silsbee tweet this morning that our game friday was listed at 7:30. I asked and that page confirmed 7:30. The Silsbee football schedule has 7:00 but the PNG calender has 7:30. So someone may want to verify the time.

Eyebrow raising graduated last year.....not sure what physical speed is......but i have LOTS of make believe speed!!!!

I hvae seen a few good points on here. RJ will be the major factor for the PNG offense. If he were playing RB he wouldnt concern me quite as muched but back there at qb scrambling when the defense breaks down is definitely a big concern. A point was made about how many we will have going both ways, that is definitely a concern when playing a larger school and especially early in the season. Another concern for the Tigers will be how well our QB(s) perform..no experience there. I hope to see RJ throw the ball a good bit to see how well our secondary plays. I hope we have good weather and a good safe game!

Yes they have 3 but when one came before i was even born well that is definitely too old to worry about.....i mean i have heard one of their biggest fans talking about How Cowboy fans shouldnt talk about their past titles.....so i guess the only Titles that matter are the ones won by your reigning or should i say two time reigning State Champion Silsbee Tigers!!!

Definitely a first scrimmage, far from clean, but yes the Tigers were in control. I left at during the break. Some costly penalties on offense and a few tough plays on defense but a pretty good start.
