Hmm tough one there. I didnt like the going for it on 4th down at midfield in the first half or the fake punt from our own 20 with about 4 mins left. Other than that i liked or was ok with most of the rest. Didnt like so many plays up the middle at times. Bunched a bunch of those together.

Maybe so, our first one may have been partially blocked, either way it was a miss. Then we went for 2 which they got. Never got to try to kick another. 0-3 on 2 pt conversions. And that was the difference. They got 2 and we missed out on the other 5 pts from the tries(1 kick and the other 2 pt tries).

Weather??? Yes turnovers played a big part such as a 2 pt int return that changed the xp tries the rest of the game. And the one that ended it. And when it’s an obvious hold it’s goung to be called just like they were on us. You won congratulations. Now go see how you handle pleasant grove. One thing about it your coaches and players won’t forget Silsbee anytime soon.

Great season Tigers. Tough game to lose with so many opportunities. You knew after we went ahead that they were going to put it in Whittington’s hands and he delivered. We did pretty good at least limiting him most of the night, sure he made his catches but we kept the big play away. Great turn around from early on and you went toe to toe tonight.

Playing good. Hope that xp doesn’t end up being the difference.

You can throw that Newton game out. One they are Newton. And two, just like many teams, we reallly hadnt found ourselves yet. We didnt have a qb to around the 5th game. We were still using 2 qbs and neither one was Foster until the 4 th or 5 th game at least. Teams were stacking up against us and targeting the run especially when Taylor was in. We really didnt have any passing game at that point. Now you have to at least be prepared for both. Wont say you cant stop our running game but it is a lot harder now.

Saw that team several times. That is a tuff statement. Maybe he was second best all around, maybe. The way he shot the ball makes it tuff to say he wasnt the best.

It is still an if but the if there was more of a fact. Tyler’s feet went out from under him with noone between him and the goal. If he jadnt slipped he walks into the enzone giving the Tigers a 2 score lead with less than 2 minutes left. Game over. Instead they get the ballback and win on basically a hail mary as time runs out. No excuse it happens, just happened on our best chance to beat Carthage in our recent playoff meetings.

Not there but I would imagine the point total being higher is partly a result of more possessions than in most games and our bench playing a good bit.

Yes but probably not as much as some may think. I am sure the bench will see plenty of action.
