I would say, as much as a Tiger fan as I am and a fan of these two freshmen, that Adams has a lot more shooting to do before that statement can be made!!

Well in 2 games that I have heard numbers for We hit 10 3s against central and 18 against PNG so for now we have some shooting going on. I hope it holds up!

Like was said at the game, our shooters are already on the court we get our inside game and most of our rebounding back after football.

My question even for the games where the press isn't as effective will these teams be able to last the whole game with our depth and defensive pressure the whole game. Not just the press. I definitely hope the shooting continues.

The dunk o meter had the same number as the tigers record against Central this year 1-0!!

maybe not impressive in who they beat but it is in the fact that they were down by 23 and had two freshmen playing a large part in coming back and getting the win.

Exactly one or two games doesn't make the season but they may give you bragging rights in the area.

Of course they earned it but if their preseason ranking had been say #8, where would they be now.......probably up a few but not at #1 unless all 7 above them had lost.

A case of doing what was expected both Tiger wins were doing the unexpected....

I would say both, got a preseason ranking like he said based on a full squad, and the has busted it to stay undefeated! Bridgeport lost so an undefeated #2 team moved up!

real varsity experience actually had Grubbs, Harris, Maze and Luke.

I know things can change but I will take their word for it until I see otherwise.

How about this Silsbee "with significant players left playing football" has faced Central twice in recent years and has a 2-0 record!

How many of these games were scheduled and how many were in tournaments?

I believe we may know a lot sooner than that..... Like I said I have read him say it and had it told to me by his father. Sure it hasn't been done yet but may be done as soon as next month.

Two of them won't go back! A Tiger team that still has all the speed and defensive pressure with lots of depth and can shoot the 3 ball......well you do the math!

not sure either but was the smallest on the court and had a few good minutes. He hit 1 of two fts late to put it to a 3 pt lead.

This was a team win! Effort by all but the night belonged to the freshmen! When we made the run at the end of the third there were 3 freshmen on the floor. At the end of the game 3 freshmen on the floor making the free throws that counted. I have refrained from wanting to believe the hype but if this group blends with the players we have yet to see.....this team will be scary good!! Those two freshmen are very legit. Sure there was a freshman mistake or two but they were heavily outweighed by the rest of their play. They started out a little nervy but once they got going they were there to fight. We actually played 8 players tonight The four returnees and the two freshmen everyone had been talking about. We also used the little freshman and a player that played varsity early last year. We had Grubbs foul out late as did Luke and Harris struggled all game long with the cramping. Very excited to get to follow this team this year!
