Exactly. I am glad they handled it correctly when the grades were in doubt, but they never should have been in doubt. The grades should have been figured correctly and then no need for any of this.

Wow....but I had heard ours was erroneous as well. Almost as embarrassing as the situation was to begin with. I mean at least both schools self reported when the students were in question but we’ll just but....

That would explain it. Just couldn’t understand how they would revers a situation if an ineligible player was used.

At this point that would be the only answer I could see.

Not understanding this one. I don’t have a beef either way but how can you use an ineligible player if it happened and then have a decision reversed?

Amen..Not much a coach can do. He got plenty of good minutes for players who don’t get near as many in other games. Including 2 who were just added to the varsity. He is getting this tram ready to make a big playoff run. He could have definitely let those players press in the second half to get them used to what they will need to do if called upon but he didn’t. You aren’t going to tell those players to just stand out there and learn bad habits. Even in that zone or half court set Hf had problems ever getting a good shot.

I think basketball would be harder to implement. Another point is baseball and even football don’t require the same conditioning as basketball. Take away some of those minutes and it can hurt teams that play that uptempo game all game. Not sure which way I would lean. I do like the way it was handled last night but see the other side as well.

Entire second half.

One thing about it you are more than welcome to your opinion but if the Tigers had wanted to they could have won by probably 150. Starters played about 1 1/2 quarters and didn’t press the entire second half.

I sat real close to the court and the gym was pretty quiet except when Hf would score. I could hear most any talking on the court and all I heard was the Tigers talking to each other and working together. HF has a young team that fights and is getting good at xperience but this is just a pure mismatch. Tigers have too much speed and athleticism.
