  2. Supposedly lots of people were supposed to show up to the board meeting to protest anyone know if this happened?
  3. I don’t comment often, but I would imagine thing like the lack of discipline over the last few years also played a part. I was at the BC vs. Liberty game and was surprised they didn’t fire the entire staff after the number of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, and the kids seemed proud of it. BC athletics could use a change of direction and I think slowing down and finding the right long term person is smart as long as they do it early enough for the new guy to have a full off season.
  4. I assumed it was new as this the first time I’ve ever seen it enforced in 30+ years of watching HS games
  5. There is evidently a bee UIL rule that is a judgement call and will be unevenly enforced. Bands can’t play if the other team can’t hear. They evidently forgot that band is there to support and that crowd noise is part of the game. The game I was at one band was “too loud”. If anyone else sees this happen this year please post.
  6. I thought Joe Greene graduates from Dunbar in temple not Fort Worth
  7. Every game I’ve seen this year the refs had a radio or Bluetooth system to communicate without the need to stop pkay
  8. Sounds like one of the lesser crews from the Houston chapter
  9. Hard to run the slot-t when losing first down
  10. What’s the score and time remaining? Those of us out of town really don’t care about the commentary on the announcer
  11. There was an ambulance there and available, to bring out a stretcher is a decision made by the trainer for that team, so if no stretcher was brought out that is on the jasper trainer
  12. So is there less planning commitment and leadership now??
  13. And yet as you claim without any of those 3 Broussard’s teams never lost by 60+ to a school about half their size
  14. Play action just out of curiosity how many of Rowe’s guys came back with vanover coming in, if that staff is the answer to all things Livingston where are they at now that Broussard is gone? I guess the whoever hires the ADs in Livingston just doesn’t understand the greatness of Arledge
  15. The last three years it looked like the offense was making it up as it went along and the defense was struggling to just stay up-right and limit the damage. I’m not claiming Broussard had all the answers to fix Livingston, my assertion is that when a coach is fighting the town, the facilities, an engrained lack of work ethic and as I watched from the stands it appeared his own staff I’d like to know how anyone is supposed to win games?.
  16. That is a great point, slot T forces a defense to be more disciplined than spread the balance isn’t in run/pass %, it’s who has the ball and how
  17. I stand corrected, but would point out that only college station was worse than the Shepherd outing and again I think they are a little better than Shepherd. I never watched Livingston when Rowe was there so I don’t feel qualified to say what he had going on, I do know he had more kids get scholarships than they have had recently, maybe he is just that good, maybe the talent pool was deeper.
  18. Last year Livingston had 3 teams for every game except for the last one when the opponent did not have 1 and they combined the JV and 9th grade and played a freshman B-team until the grade check agree the coaching turnover was a problem for Broussard
